My name is Aubrey Baker and I’m currently enrolled at Embry-Riddle Prescott in the Aeronautical Science Fixed-Wing program. In addition to my primary focus of Aeronautical Science, I have already completed a minor course of study in Aviation Safety and will be completing another minor in Air Traffic Management this coming school year. I have already completed my private and instrument flying courses and am currently working on commercial single-engine, which will be followed by my final flight training course at ERAU, commercial multi-engine. I am particularly excited for my multi-engine course as it will allow me to refine my flying skills in new types of aircraft, in this case the new Diamond DA42-NG-VI Twin Star. I currently work at the Embry-Riddle flight line as a flight dispatcher and have been doing so for three years. In addition to supporting my flight department on one side of the Prescott airport, I have also recently picked up a second job at KPRC’s FBO, Legend Aviation, so that I can begin to diversify my professional experience. My goals are to finish up my courses and go find the biggest turboprop that I can find, I want to make the ground shake. My hope is for a C-130 for firefighting operations.
