As a second year student in an accelerated three-year Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program, my goals are centered around being a well-rounded clinician and best serving evidence based practices throughout my career. My clinical interests lie in amplification devices and vestibular assessment, with a primary focus on serving geriatric and veteran populations. I will be completing my final year of school through a clinical externship year in a VA hospital, where veterans can be provided with much-needed amplification devices without the associated financial burden. As a student, i have maintained diligence in my studies throughout my undergraduate and graduate career. I graduated a semester early Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I chose to pursue a three-year doctorate program as it was consistent with my goals in minimizing my student loan debt as i follow my passion. As a person, I love animals, hiking, and good food. I was a competitive gymnast for thirteen years, which has strongly shaped my work ethic. I have lived all around Ohio and hope to move out of state as i start my career.
