Bio

My lifelong goal in life is to help others be the best that they can be. As a future physician, I am thankful that I have found a profession that enables me to fulfill this goal both as a caretaker and an educator. I not only can help people live their best lives by directly managing their health, but also, I can educate those around me on strategies to lead more healthful lives outside of the healthcare system. This desire to improve the lives of others ultimately motivated me to pursue an MBA and an eventual career in hospital management. Commonly, provider wellbeing is a second thought in healthcare, and faced with intense and growing pressures in the workplace, physicians and nurses have some of the highest rates of depression and suicide by occupation in America. As a future physician and aspiring hospital executive, I hope to prioritize provider wellbeing and make it a central focus of all healthcare organizations. I am confident that by helping medical caretakers be the best that they can be day in and day out, we will see dramatically better patient experiences and improved health outcomes.
