My goal is to become an animal cruelty investigator or a professional animal trainer. I hope to take my career within the animal world even further to become a general practitioner veterinarian or an exotic animal veterinarian.

Ever since I was a little girl my goal was to be involved in the veterinary world. Whether it's becoming a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, an animal trainer, an animal behaviorist, or even a veterinarian. Animals are the most innocent creatures and us humans are their voice. Given that we are the only ones that are able to help animals when they're in distress or in danger, it has given me motivation to study to become part of that. It would be an absolute dream to become someone that can help a little creature. When I was younger I was always watching animal planet, always at the zoos or aquariums, and it was something that grab my attention immensely. I had started doing research, participated in clubs that have to do with animals, I have done volunteer work, to try to get a feel of the animal world and I knew it was for me. Veterinary or animal sciences is quite a difficult career path. There are many courses where you have to learn tedious math and science and it can be frustrating. I suffer from manic depression, which can also be known as bipolar disorder. Manic depression is associated with mood swings that can be very low and depressive or very high and manic. These episodes can last weeks or months. It still is strenuous to deal with, but I have slowly been able to cope with it. Some of my coping skills are maintaining my self busy with whatever I can possible. I am a huge gym rat so going to the gym is a distraction and it makes me happy. If I ever feel a negative thought or emotion, I go to a pond near by my house where there are ducks. Are usually take fruit and vegetables to feed the ducks and I take my dog Boba so she can run around. It is some thing that brings me a lot of peace to my mind. Another coping skill that I use is face timing my boyfriend if not hanging out with him in person when he is able to. He is the one person that I have been able to fully open up to in regards to everything I have bottled up my entire life. I am currently going through a lot with my family so whenever I feel down I go to him for comfort and he never fails to make me feel better. Just like you need to be fit and strong for your physical health you also have to be fit and strong for your mental health. Despite the fact that I suffer from manic depression, pursuing my goal and becoming someone within the veterinary world there's some thing that I will not put an end to. If you do what you know makes you happy you will be a-okay and that is my goal for my future.
