Medical knowledge and technology are rising rapidly. People are frequently discovering new ways to present and assist patients with other medical issues and health concerns. That means the medical field is growing, and it would be a good place for the future job. You do not only have to take the nurse or physician to be in the medical field, either. Check out some different work choices in the medical field below. Physician assistant – a physician assistant or PA is someone who may do some of the responsibilities that the physician may do, but the job does not require a doctorate level. The doctor’s worker will do tasks like making operations and prescribing medicines. However, to turn into a physician worker, you still need to accomplish the professional’s degree system, which will be time-consuming. To turn into a physician worker, you need to accomplish a four-year undergraduate degree and the two-year master’s degree system.
In order to accomplish this goal, the business in the medical field would allow me to make the change. “ I believe that needs to go within the area of medicine, with blunt and public discussion about the effect of this epidemic on frontline medical providers, and so radiate out into the general population, in larger, community-driven conversations. So I decided to pursue pediatrics, I know it is a highly demanding field, but I know that God is by my side, He is guiding me every step of the way.

Moving from Africa to the US, I realized I was about to start my life on a new surface, changing schools and the environment. As I reflect on my past and how much time has passed by, I realize that circumstances change us, depending on how we let it. Arriving the Unites States, school was so important to start with, so I started 8th grade and finished within a month because I came to the US April and needed to continue school. I was so nervous, but my mom told me God is always in control.
Listening to my mom's advice, I did not worry about anything. Come 10th grade I adjusted and blended with my teachers. But there was this part of me that said, “I am not enough and no matter what I do I will never amount to other standards” That thought kept me worried, because of my insecurities. When I entered 10th grade, everything was going fine with school, but a new virus was discovered Covid-19. On March 15, 2020, we were asked to get all our books from school and go home. They said when the virus is over, we will be back, so I stayed home for a few weeks, and did distance learning online. On May 4, I got a fever and isolated myself from my family for 2 weeks. I discovered unique talents within me.
I had to always wear a mask when talking to anyone. One night while restless I picked up my Bible, because the Lod called me to His presence. I was struggling with self-worth and anxiety. When I read the Bible, it changed my focus on these things. It read “God is the creator of all things, and He has a plan and a purpose for my life”. This implied that in spite the rough circumstances on my path, He always gives me peace. Nothing can satisfy that Void in us that only God can fill. I do not deserve the love He shows me but all I can do is share it with my neighbor.

My mom lived in the United States, knowing about the wonderful work she was doing in the hospital, I decided to follow her lead. When I had the opportunity to come to the United States where there is free education and a wide variety of branches of which you can pursue the dream career of your choice that was amazing after being in a location you must pay for everything. I started going to school and discovered I had an extreme bond with kids. I enrolled in a Health Service Academy class at my high school, I was so excited. I realized I am passionate about giving love, care and putting smiles on beautiful faces.
The Health Service Academy became my favorite subject because it helped discover my true potential. When we had our first presentation on our future careers, I did my presentation as a Physician assistant. The presentation went well, my teacher said I must invite her on my graduation day. I did not follow my instincts concerning my desires relating to the medical field. I told my mom , and she said, “NEVER GO IN FOR SOMETHING BASED ON WHAT PEOPLE TELL YOU, GO FOR IT BECAUSE YOU LOVE IT AND IT IS WHAT YOU WANT, GOD PUT THAT POTENTIAL IN YOU”. I decided to pursue pediatrics, because I believe I was made for it. I learned that when you are going in for something being it a Job or studies, do not go in for the money, go in because of how great an impact you want to make in the world.

Jameela Jamil x I Weigh Scholarship
Siblings raised in a family with bossy parents are more likely to be in odds with one another. Older siblings are supposed to take the lead in their younger siblings' life but not in every aspect only when they see the younger siblings in need of direction. Establishing a strong understanding of effective leadership through education empowers us to be good individuals and to better understand the ability of others particularly in different situations. The fact is no one's leadership style is perfect at every possible place.
Some work well in certain moments and change at others. Good leaders learn when to modulate effectively to ensure that they are offering a stable, honest, and proper position whenever it is called for. Being able to manage your own time and resources effectively can be very important and bringing some suggestions about a better solution concerning the situation is a great part of leadership. My experience of leadership I would say is unique in my perspective. We know being a leader is not necessarily being a boss of a big company or being a coach, of a football team. Being a leader also means helping someone solve a very difficult problem which may come out very ordinary to others but to you is very important. For instance, when my sister named Blessing, who presently is in 3rd grade needed help with her spider web project, she got so overwhelmed and for her it was a very difficult task for her to complete. Blessing asked my mom, and she was busy, she asked my dad, and he was busy as well. When she approached me, I immediately told her I was busy too. I had two essays to complete a math assignment with a history test to study for and I did not have an inch of time to waste. When my sister Blessing told me that her project was very important and she needed to complete it before midnight, I decided to help her out, show her the different steps in completing the project.
The project took 15 to 20 minutes, when I was done with her project, she was super excited and grateful for the help I offered. Being able to help someone else when I have so much going on is amazing, I would say. I took the lead as a big sister to help and make the little one's job easier, not thinking only about my burdens but hers as well. Leadership I found out is not about being popular and having a high position, but it is understanding the deepest needs of others and guarding them from making right decisions and being present to guide and relate to others in different ways.
Bold Friendship Matters Scholarship
Relationship may mean different things to other people. For some people it is just the belief that somebody cannot hurt you. For others it might take unconditional love or simply regular friendship. Whatever the personal explanation is, relationship is often regarded as a shared and agreeable relationship between two people.
As it has been stated that the person who discovers a real person has discovered a valuable gem. I would speak so for myself because I sure have found that valuable gem, but the problem is I do not know how to truly value it for who He is. The world says, " You never know the true value and importance of something until you lose it". I will never lose it, it is here to stay forever. God is that one friend of mine, that I will use His qualities to determine the next friend that I will let into my life. It is very important to develop the friendships with people who are compatible with you on both the emotional and psychological basis. When it comes to bonds, the beginning is realizing what exactly relationship is.
I grew up in a Christian home, when I was 9 years old, I would go to church to show of my nice cloths. I didn't know the importance of going to church, saw it as an opportunity to show case myself. When I turned 17, I discovered the best friend anyone can ever ask for. He doesn't yell at me when I am wrong, neither does He condemn me.
He understands me, He laid down His precious life so I could live. He comes into my introverted world when the whole world is tried of it, He sees greatness and extraordinary works in me when I don't see anything good within.
Bold Hope for the Future Scholarship
Hope is a very important and less spoken subject in today's society. The world oven hope in themselves and their dream, abilities and accomplishments forgetting the one who gave them can likely take them away.
Being able to look at a situation that is at its pike of dieing and still believing a miracle, is called hope. Hoping for a better tomorrow without any effort is just luck, like the saying goes" When you position for nothing you will fall for anything". We are made to set goals, but not all the time are we going to get the same exact thing we aimed for.
Jesus alone gives me hope to face my tomorrow, my new hour or minute. He makes me understand that even when I have tried my whole best, the best I can do, He will complete what I can't.
He is the only one who knows our tomorrow, we plan but He fulfill it, not necessarily the same thing we wanted but even better.
Prioritizing God is the best decision any individual on this earth can do, being able to stand in uncertainty and laugh and say it is well, it takes faith and courage. My hope alone is in Jesus because my plans, events, dreams might or will change, but Jesus never will.
He says in His word" Seek he first the kingdom of God and all Him righteousness and all these things, which are our plans and anything elses we can think of, that we need will be added unto us.
We will never regret a single moment when we obey God and leave all the consequences to Him. He loves us and all He ones is for is to set our hope and trust Him to see us through.
Bold Wise Words Scholarship
Wisdom is a being aligned to a certain state of mind, considering the situation at the moment. I have heard plenty of wise sayings and words, but the one that stood out to me was offered to me during one of the most devastated times in my life.
With the current situation going on around on(Coronavirus) many people have lost their Jobs, family members and so much more.
I in particular had to drop out of school, and do home school because the cases were on the rise. Late March already April I was at home, looking around and wondering why I don't have many friends and people, that I can express myself, laugh and enjoy life with.
But with those thoughts obviously came depression and I couldn't even find happiness in anything I do. One night I decided to pick up my bible and see what I can find in it.
By the way growing up in a Christian home doesn't guarantee that problems and difficulties won't find you, and the difficulties are not to harm you, but to make you grow. That night I was reading through the pages and I came across some scriptures that blew my mind it said " Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends"(John 15:13).
One of the wisest things I have heard is this " When we live in a way that invites the blessing of the lord, that blessing can spill over to our neighbors".
This world is full of ups and downs, but when we quit think only about ourselves and allow God to do Him marvelous work through us, that is what I call purpose.Living in this world full of so much evil and still being able to show love.
Bold Future of Education Scholarship
In our society they are elite and merchants all around, but the one thing that will help future generation students will be a better affordable rate.
Inspire of your income, I totally understand some youths have financial difficulties, take long for example immigrants, they need the help, they can get. Knowing that America is a land of opportunities, plenty of youths will love to come and achieve a piece of it.
For instance, colleges have high rates of affordability, but certain families are not able to afford, so for the future generation it shouldn't be made easier for them, but at a more affordable rate.
With our present situation, parents have lost their jobs and the youths have to work and support at home at the same time they have to think of their college/school expenses.
Being able to visualize the struggles of the future generation will prompt us to inputting the necessary changes on expenses. Putting the expenses at affordable rates doesn't give the youths/parents to relax and not work hard, that just gives them the confidence knowing that they can afford it.
Giving an opportunity to the youths, who are hoping on accomplishing their dream in this country. Not frequently looking at the elite class and their ability to afford, but considering the other part, who can't afford at the same rate.
Louise Speller Cooper Memorial Scholarship
Life is full of ups and downs, but the actions we take during does periods, will determine a whole lot about us. Mother's are a gift from God and we as children are suppose to give them the respect they deserve. Not everyone is fit to be called mother. In our society today, mothers bring up their children the best way they can, being a mother is not an easy task.
My mom is a wonderful gift from God, I won't be the respectful and punctual girl I am today if not for her. She takes care of her children, spot out their talents and skills and help us grow in them. We all believe that everyone on this earth had a purpose to fulfill on this earth, and with the help of our parents we can be what we were made to be. Not saying father's don't have a role as well, but mother's aren't just mother's, at home with the kids, they are doctors, lawyers, and so much more. My mom has made me understand that we all have a special gift that was given to us by God and her job is to help nourish those gifts to be great.
I believe the lord placed her in my life for a purpose. My mom had build me in the fear of the lord and she made me understand that there is nothing she would have done if not for God on her side. He has a car accident at 13 years old and it completely changed her life. But when she tells me of her story, I always see smiles on her face because she knows who she serves and she always shows her gratitude to God for giving her the strength and wisdom, to bring up her kids in the right way.
Going to college I am not so sure about it because, with negative thoughts in my head telling me I won't be able to make it, or I don't have enough knowledge to get through college, I told my mom about it and she advised me, she said, I can be anything in this world, if only I dedicate my time and effort to it and I should leave what I cannot control in God's hands because He knows best. This life is a lifetime adventure, and God has given us this day to live in, what we do with it is our gift to Him. I am so grateful to have a wonderful and God-fearing mom to lead me on this world of caus.
"Wise Words" Scholarship
There are slot of quotes out there that have changed my way of living. The one quote that keeps me going in this life is " If I didn't do anything for God to love me, then there is nothing I can do for Him to stop loving me".
This quote keeps me going all day long, when I feel down about myself, or feel like the world is crumbling I reflect on this quote. Sometimes I feel like I am not doing enough or I am not worth defending, this quote makes me know that no matter what I feel, think, or hear, God is still on my side, He knew I would feel this way, but He still choose me for this moment in time.
For sure there is nothing anyone can do to change what my Heavenly Father says about me, nor can anyone stop the plans He has for me now and the future.
Ethel Hayes Destigmatization of Mental Health Scholarship
Hi my name is Peace, and I will be a senior at AB Miller high school this fall. So excited to see what plans God has for me in this world. Growing up in Africa mental health wasn't such a big deal and wasn't often considered as something worth looking into. Living in Africa, we didn't have good doctors that were specialized in mental health. Parents themselves didn't understand sometimes why their children are feeling down, or why they come down with certain diagnosis.
Coming to the US, I understand that mental health is really important because I have struggled with it. Feeling down about myself and how the world responds to me, affects my emotional health and physical health as well. When I was in 10th grade I was dealing with depression my parents didn't have a clue what was going on. At school I would try to fit in with other kids, but later discovered their character contrast mine in so many ways.
Going through that I brought down my worth to the lowest level, I started thinking that there is nothing good for me on this earth. I relied so much on what others said about me more that what God says about me. Free days to my birthday, I had an encounter with Jesus, He visited me in my room, He made me understand I am loved and chosen by Him. I don't need others approval because am already approval by Him. When I finally learned the truth about who I really am in Christ, that gave me so much confidence. The world will always have something to say about me, but I know my mental health will be perfectly ok, when I depend on what my Heavenly Father says about me.
Act Locally Scholarship
In our society, the community is one of the most important places we can interact and find common values. Growing up in an area where community matters so much, I have learned to get involved and interact with new people. Service is so important in my community because we understand that when we serve it gives us so much fulfillment in our heart knowing that we are doing the work of Christ. Not ask for something in return, but it is just serving and nothing more. Serving makes the community a better place and it makes the people around feel safe knowing that there are some good and humble characters around.
Moving to the United States was an exceedingly challenging task because I had to leave my values and my people, whom I cherished the most to come to a land filled with milk and honey. In Africa, you must pay for school and your lunch but right here in America school is free. That part alone got my attention, and with that, I could not ask for anything more but accepting this blessing. Having to go to school without paying a penny for your books nor to the teachers is great. The type of service that caught my attention was helping my teachers' grade papers clean their classrooms make them feel fulfilled for what they are doing for us the students. it is not easy to take your precious time to tutor some kids and teach them what they do not understand and make them feel safe at school. Frankly speaking, our teachers have sacrificed so much, and being able to help them with little, gives me so much satisfaction, not helping them because I must but out of a humble heart and knowing how much they sacrificed for us. Before the pandemic, the little service I could offer is to go for park clean-ups, and I feel so happy when I get that opportunity to serve out in the community and help the best way I can.
Last year when we the students and teachers had to go home because of the pandemic that has taken over the country I was so devastated because the teachers have made us the students feel welcome at school. Having to leave school and stay home while attending school electronically was not good for us and the teachers. Now that we are going to school online, I try my best to give the teachers hope by taking part in class and talk to the teachers to make them know that they are not wasting their time teaching us. Back in Africa teachers do not take their precious time to help students in need but here in America my teachers are the best I have ever seen, they take their precious time to help the students out with difficulties. We students need to start appreciating the time and effort our teachers have for us because I know the relationship, we build with our teachers will later pay off because we might need them to sign something or ask for a letter of recommendation from them.

In today's society I know they are many ambitions out there to pursue, but I would love to pursue mind in the health field, not for the money or attention, but for how much passion I have to help others in need. I always keep this quote with me that says" when you are passionate about something, know that if you can work and not get paid and still have the passion to keep working, that is your calling". I believe God put this passion in me, to reach out to others in the world and make them feel welcome, not make them feel like they are mistakes.
Planing on going to college, specifically a four year college, wondering how I would afford it, I don't know, but I will still try my best anyways. This scholarship will be a huge favour for me, because it will help me with college and also being able to pursue my career in the health field. I would love to a pediatrician, first because I have so much love for children and watching them smile and feeling okay warms my heart. Secondly, with the current situation now in Africa where children do not have a good health care system, that makes me even more passionate to go to school and become someone that can make the children's situation turn for the better. I want to be a pediatrician and also an entrepreneur so I can build a hospital, that could help the poor and sick children in Africa. Ever since i realized that I could be anything I want to be a in this life, that has always been my goal.
I know for sure this world is full of ups and downs and I also know that I am not on this earth to exist, but to make a difference. God has a big plan for my life. With the thought of it, God made this whole earth and looked at me, thinking that the world needs a person like me, I know I was called to something way bigger that me. This scholarship is a very big opportunity of a life time for me. I am grateful to God that I am able to qualify for this.

Being passionate about something and actually going after it is a whole different story. I have so many passions, but the one that actually captures me the most is my passions for kids. I love it's to the core, they always make my day bright. In today's society I understand that sometimes compromising your beliefs and values is the way to go, but for me I will not go that road. I believe so much in allowing the God of all creation lead my life, I believe God has a plan for my life on this earth.
Being able to go to school in the united states is a dream come through. I lived most of my life in Africa and with financial difficulties it was such a dark time to be able to find financial support in schools, and having to pay for it was not an easy task but I will never stop being grateful to God for bringing me out of that place and putting me into this land of gray and wonderful opportunities. School in Africa is very expensive, so coming to America and going to school for free through high school, was a blessing. My goal is to focus on school and do the best I can, trusting God to provide me with the knowledge need to move forward. I would love to go to college and pursue my dream career of being a Pediatrician. I understand in our present world the opportunities being offered will often be turned down by the people who do not know the benefit of it. Therefore we need to take advantage of the opportunities that are available to us. When I first started 8th grade I knew I could do everything on my own and get the help I needed on my own. But there are a lot of things I could not do well like managing my time and arranging my school items in an organized manner although I tried doing everything on time but all to no avail.
Great opportunities in the US has left me thinking why students will not grab them while they can. With the knowledge I have acquired from research I realized if you just putting the time and work you will get to where you want to be trusting God to give you the wisdom and strength you need. With good scholarships like this it makes me believe that I have a bright future ahead of me and good people like this with meek hearts can help students in need by offering these wonderful scholarships. It is a great opportunity to the students can benefit from if they take the time to see how much it offers. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity to be whatever I want to be and pursue the dreams that grip my heart.
