I have always believed in the saying “Everything happens for a reason.” Various experiences shape us, and for me, a simple work conversation led me to discover my passion for videography. My coworker mentioned her video production course, sparking my interest and leading me to enroll in the program at the Carroll County Career and Tech Center. I quickly fell in love with videography, and it became a career I am excited to pursue. After years of searching, I found my passion through that chance encounter. Videography captivated me because it allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings in a way other art forms could not. Unlike painting, drawing, writing, or music, videography helped me communicate emotions and messages effectively. I enjoy creating various types of videos, especially wedding videos, where capturing joy brings me immense satisfaction. The final product and the happiness it brings to viewers drive me to improve continually. Learning videography has been exciting and motivating. My video production teacher and peers have been crucial in my growth, inspiring and pushing me to excel. Winning SkillsUSA Nationals was a highlight, providing valuable lessons and connections. Being part of a supportive community has taught me much about videography and myself. I am determined to pursue videography as a career, growing my business throughout college. I aim to create lasting memories and inspiring films, driven by the passion videography has ignited in me.
