      Bold Meaning of Life Scholarship
Life and the pursuit of its meaning have been the challenge of humanity for millennia. We all consider it. We all hope to find it. Achieving meaning in life is a healthy quest. Speaking for myself, I think that life is the physical representation of all living things and energies experiencing themselves. With that being said it is in our best interest to support and love all things. I have reevaluated my journey towards a better understanding of life, its meaning, and how to pursue it in a healthy and dignified way. I recently have chosen life over death. I don't mean to sound dramatic. My point is that I was living my life with reckless abandon. I had very little self-love and found it difficult to understand and appreciate what love for others meant and how to both give and accept love. The meaning of life to me is service. It is important to live life in the vein of helping others. Simple things such as listening, offering help to those who find it difficult to help themselves, and being of service to humanity as a whole by just being a stable and loving person so that you have the capacity to help those who may struggle. I am working hard to receive various degrees. I will be awarded an AA in Psychology, Spanish and Liberal Studies in a little over a month. After this, I am starting at Cal Poly Humbolt to further my education in hopes of becoming a drug and alcohol counselor so that I may help those in need of such care. My hope is that reaching this knowledge will move me closer to understanding what life means to me as it applies to service.
