I am a second-time college student; returning to school to earn a Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics and to specialize in pediatric endocrinology dietetics. I want to empower these children to learn how to manage their own health using food, and help the guardian of these children feel more confident in their abilities to support their children as they grow up, begin to manage their condition independently and set out on their own.
I have a background in data analytics and health facility operations and intend to pursue a PhD in Pathology.

I spend 40 hours working, 20 hours in class, and approximately 18 hours driving per week (plus more if traffic is in rough shape) with my current schedule. That’s a total of 78 hours minimum dictated by these factors alone. Time spent studying, completing assignments, showering, food prepping, and eating meals aren’t even included in this total.
“Why do you subject yourself to this?”, you may ask… Well, there’s a good reason for it. I’m a firm believer that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. What it boils down to is - if it means that much to you, it’s worth setting out to do. This career path means that much to me. The people I intend to help and provide nutritive care for mean that much to me. I will be an RD. I will work on the front lines in innovation - redefining what it means to be a dietitian - and provide patients the individualized care they deserve.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me!
