Bold Creativity Scholarship
My uniquely creative writing ability entertains and intrigues readers of all sorts with the force of a magic turtle.
I am mentally Ill and I once went on a manic hitchhiking journey across New Mexico traveling through and staying with fantastic people on the Navajo Nation that to this day has influenced and shaped me into what I think is a highly spiritual and erudite individual, me.
In my idiosyncratic Walter Mitty personality I’m able to charm and disarm various readers.
A common theme in my literature are reptiles. I am a junior herpetologist and I own a collection of rare chameleons. With names like Rostov and Lioudmilla, Pierre and Andreii, and of course my favorite, Borges, I incorporate them into my stories to great effect.
Of course I pulled those names from War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, because i am crazy about Russian literature.
The writers who impress me most are Tolstoy, Chekov and the Frenchman, Guy de Maupassant for their unique perspectives on mental illness and the human condition all together.
The mix of nature and the classics permeates my little efficiency apartment that houses not only me but five rare lizards, a turtle, four parakeets, and a dozen aquarium fish. Combined with my literature and art (cheap knockoffs of Albrecht Durer and a couple of Pablo Picassos) and various poster board sketches I have drawn, on my walls.
I delight in watching Catholic Mass online and perusing the bikini channel. My girlfriend is an Environmental Engineer from U.T. Austin and supports me in my mental health.
Without her I would be face down in a gutter. So in the final analysis I’m your man for creativity and as my late brother was fond of saying “Be true unto thine own self.” Thank you.
