Bio

Hello, my name is Patricia Toth, a student of the University of Limerick Psychology Masters program. Im an avid mental health advocate who aims to get her doctorate in psychology to help those with personality disorders. I currently work as a community counselor, helping children and adults overcome obstacles and reach their potential. I'm constantly trying to improve myself as a counselor by signing up for additional training and learning all I can at University. It was this drive to improve and my thirst for travel that led me to Ireland to be a student at the University of Limerick. I will admit it wasn't easy to get there, as I had to juggle multiple jobs and take out my first loan, but it was worth it. The education itself was top-notch, and the campus, like the country, was beautiful. I was able to travel while there and experience various cultures, meeting people of different backgrounds, identities, cultures, and religions. While I'm now back in the States, this experience has broadened my perspective and helped me grow as a person. While Im not sure where my next steps will take me, be it here or abroad for my doctorate, I know it will be an adventure of a lifetime. However, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my bio and take a peek at my profile. I’m a coffee addicted gremlin who needs to put her money towards more important things. Like coffee. For my employers to question whether or not hiring me was a good choice. My old boss tried to put a restriction on my coffee consumption during finals week during my shifts. I made him regret the attempt immediately.
