FinalistBio
Hello! I am Parker Jendrysik, a second-year Integrated Language Arts student at Ohio University. As a striving education student, I aim to teach the next generation of young adults.
As a firm believer in the transformative power of education, I am dedicated to inspiring young minds and fostering a love for the culture that is forever changing and shaping us. Ever since I was able to obtain a position in which I was able to read, write, analyze, and understand the importance of words, I instantly grew passionate for learning, collaborating, and expanding on the world of English.
My enthusiasm for the language arts has allowed me to further dedicate myself to my career. However, being able to further my career will surely be possible with the help of scholarships. I plan to prepare bright minds for their futures through peeling back the layers of language arts.

At 4:30 P.M. everyday my parents would come home from work and put dinner on the table. They seldom talked of work but rather were more interested in how me and my sister's day was. As a child, I was more interested in the stories we told around the table regarding school work or recess. However, as I mature I realized just how easily my parents could mask the stress from their day only to make us happy.
My mom has just recently taken up a part-time position on top of her regular 8-4 job reconstructing a halfway house. She is an administrator for our county's drug and alcohol prevention system. Without complaint, she dedicates her time and energy into her job while also giving our family her undivided attention when at home. Instead of coming home at 4:30 everyday, she now works until 6:00 and sometimes later. I have never seen a woman work as hard as she does. She gets up every morning for the gym at 6:00 A.M. and twelve hours later comes home. My mom inspires me to be the best version of myself.
My dad is chief of adult probation for our county. He is a protector, provider, and overall my biggest supporter. When I first told my dad that I wanted to attend Ohio University he was smiling cheek to cheek. However, he made it known that I had to work towards my success at this school, especially since I would be an out-of-state student and finances are must higher. My dad always pushed me out of my comfort zone. If it were not for him, I would have never found my love for performing arts at my high school. He always dropped me off and picked me up from any and every practice I had. Additionally, he insisted I were to work in order to build experience for my upcoming educational journey.
My mom and dad have sacrificed their time off the clock to ??. Both of their office jobs consist o f helping other become the best version of themselves, regardless of their past. Without even realizing it, they have successfully built strong and ambitious daughters. They have sacrificed their time as parents to introduce me and my sister to our passion, hobbies, and life skills. My dad has instilled a strong work ethic into me in which I plan to instill into my adult profession. Helping others is only the beginning, and I plan to use my education to further education the young generation just as my parents have graciously done for me.
As a young child, I never payed much attention to the efforts my parents have put in for us. But, as we sit for dinners now I only cherish my time with them. Whether it is 4:30 P.M. or 6:00 P.M, my sister and I make sure to put our parents meals on the able as a notion of gratitude.
Love Island Fan Scholarship
Islanders, please make your way to the fire pit!
Today, your challenge will consist of three things: a clear palette (your beautiful faces, duh!), a partner, some glam, and some feelings...
The challenge is called Makeup or Breakup: Too Faced.
Allow me to set the scene. Islanders are placed at the fire pit in order to get situated, where each male partners with the woman of their choice. If single, they may choose a beautiful woman for this challenge. If they are in a couple, they are to be partners. Ideally, however, at this point in the series almost each person should be coupled. Whether it is an old or new couple does not matter. That way, in order to test their chemistry, drama can unfold nearing the end of this challenge.
Across the way from them is a makeup desk, Too Faced products, and a blindfold. Each couple's chemistry will be tested when the first couple makes their way to get "glammed". Their gal is then blindfolded and will be given one minute on the clock to make their man look gorgeous! Well... as much as you can do in a minute. Oh yeah, and totally be blindfolded. Their man must guide them through this fast-paced, hilarious glam sesh to ensure a stunning outcome!
Once their man is looking a little less manly and more so like their partner, they will make their way to the photo booth where the man takes a few "glam shots" and seals the deal with a token of gratitude for their girls hard work, a romantic kiss.
The islander at the end of the challenge with the best makeup done by their partner wins!
Or... do they? Only until host Ariana Madix reappears with some not-so-good news.
Once each couple makes their way through their boys glam sesh, the blindfolded women are to be stood in a line and once told to remove their masks can do so. At this point, each islander should be confused. They are led to believe that this is an upbeat, harmless challenge. But Ariana's appearance only means one thing: not good news. She tells each boy to face their women in a line. They are provided with a makeup wipe. If their man wipes off their girls makeup, that means they want to explore other girls in the villa and breakup. If they keep their beautiful, caked face, then they are to stay in their current couple and continue to get to know one another. One by one, each woman will take their blindfold off to reveal whether their man has removed their makeup or kept it on. Drama at this point will go up in flames, and their man must state whether they have kept their makeup on or removed it.
The girls will then exchange their blindfolds to the men who wear them as awkward silence and a dramatic track plays.
When the challenge only seems to be over, as is any Love Island could get any worse, a bombshell enters the Villa! A sexy, new woman will kiss each man and then be revealed to the guys. She may then choose to steal a man or couple with a newly single one.
Will the islanders Makeup or Breakup? Are they two faced?
