FinalistBio
Hi! My name is Parker (he/him), and I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, studying Classics, Linguistics, and Italian. After graduation, I will be attending Georgetown University as a Master's candidate in Linguistics.
I am proud of my path of study, as unconventional as it might seem, because it has allowed me to pursue my interests. I am still exploring possible career paths, but I know that I would like to use my education and skills as a way to eliminate communicative injustice and language-based inequities in our society. I would like to focus especially injustices committed against marginalized peoples and to help such individuals improve their social equity as much as possible.
