I had always feared the future. Not knowing what was in store for me hindered my capabilities to the point where I was unable to progress towards my academic and personal goals. After years of self-doubt, I realized the only one holding me back to reach my potential was me. Now I recognize that I can do anything set in my mind— as long as I am disciplined, consistent, and enthusiastic. I strive to leverage every opportunity to further my education and fulfill my lifelong goal of helping others. I am a rising junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Public Policy and Entrepreneurship. I enjoy being involved with the community and currently serve as the CFO for Meantime Coffee Company, a non-profit, student-led coffee shop on campus. I am also involved with Scale & Coin Business Society, an organization dedicated to fostering a community and introducing students into the business world. I am also involved with organizations that promote sustainability like Carolina Thrift. This scholarship will allow me to focus on fulfilling my dreams instead of constantly worrying about my college finances. I am a multipotentialite (a person who has many different interests and creative pursuits in life)! I am interested in combining my interest in business, finance, fashion, and design by becoming an entrepreneur. I am planning on majoring in Business Administration (concentrating in finance) during college.
