My name is Paige, and I am a high school senior with a passion for healthcare. I have chosen to pursue a degree in this field because I have always been drawn to helping others and making a difference in people's lives. Additionally, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at the age of seven, which has resulted in many years of being in and out of the hospital. I truly understand what it is like to be sick. Healthcare is a field where I can combine my interest in science with my desire to help others, much like how I have been helped throughout my life. As a woman entering this field, I am excited about the opportunities to bring compassion and understanding to patient care. Receiving scholarship money would provide me with the financial stability I need to focus on my studies without the constant worry of tuition fees and living expenses. I come from a single-family home. I have two younger brothers, one of whom broke his neck and is in therapy, and my mom pays a lot of pockets. This support would enable me to dedicate more time to my coursework, participate in extracurricular activities, and gain valuable experiences that will contribute to my academic and professional success.
