I’m a first-gen grad, born in Ecuador and raised in Miami. I grew watching my parents hustle to build a new life—selling beauty products, taking on odd jobs, and showing me that resilience and resourcefulness open doors. That experience shaped how I see the world: as something you can build, not just inherit.
I studied public policy and economics at Pomona, where I learned to ask big questions and create practical solutions. Since then, I’ve worked across strategy, product, and growth in tech, with the long-term goal of starting my own company. I’m pursuing my MBA at Wharton to sharpen my skills and surround myself with others who want to solve hard problems and make a real impact.
Entrepreneurship is more than a career to me—it’s the way I know to combine creativity, leadership, and systems thinking in service of something bigger than myself. I’m drawn to industries that affect how we live—whether in housing, sustainability, or education—and I believe the most meaningful ventures are ones rooted in human needs.
Outside of work, I’m a craftsman at heart: I build guitars, garden, read widely, and love learning how things are made. I care deeply about community, family, and creating opportunities for others. I believe in kindness, sharp thinking, and doing the hard work.
I’m applying for scholarships not just to fund a degree—but to invest in a life spent building, contributing, and shaping then world I want to live in.
