Bio

This year, I entered my 7th year of working in Corporate America as a project manager for a consulting firm. I have accelerated my career track by excelling in my deliverables, building trusting relationships with my clients, networking throughout the company, and finding my niche within my department. My teams have even won awards for our work! Yet with these accolades, I feel like my heart is calling me in a different direction. So I am deciding to take a HUGE leap of faith by quitting my job and running after my passion, which is becoming an Event Producer. Launching my event décor + design business in the middle of a pandemic was a risky move! But the joy I feel every time I transform a venue into a work of art is well worth it. This industry is where my passion, talents, values, and skills all align. I will be investing in myself by going back to school to obtain a master's in Events + Experience Management. My goal upon graduating is to gain employment with an Event Production company. This would allow me to gain valuable wisdom and knowledge from experts in the Events, Management, & Hospitality industry. My long-term goal would be to relaunch my business and expand my brand internationally. Why am I a great candidate for BOLD-sponsored scholarships? Because I personify what this program is all about! BOLDness is the willingness to shine bright with radiant fearlessness, even when you do not know what will happen. I am not sure where this entrepreneurship journey will lead me, but I know I will succeed, and I hope to inspire others to be BOLD to do the same.
