I am a first-generation college student in a baccalaureate program and a single mother who is extremely passionate about education. Making my education a top priority has given my family a better life and allowed me to provide for my son. It has been challenging navigating studying and becoming a new parent but my son is my biggest inspiration and motivator. I maintained good grades throughout my ADN/RN program and made the Dean's list several times. With a true dedication and commitment to advancing my career, I will start the RN-BSN program in the Fall at the University of Cincinnati. I would be honored to receive any scholarships to help ease the financial load of school.
