I've known what I want to do with my life since I was a child. My desire to work in pediatrics stems from two things that I am very passionate about; medicine and working with children.  Science is a topic I find fascinating, and because of this, I hope to broaden my knowledge of medicine in the future. I dream of working with children in hopes make their visits to the doctor less frightening. I remember being scared of going to the doctor when I was younger, so my ambition is to work in this field not only to help others but also to change how children perceive doctors' visits by relieving some of their anxiety while there.  I am still in high school, but I have already begun planning the steps I will take to achieve my dream. I intend to enroll in a four-year college to earn a bachelor's degree in science before enrolling in medical school to continue my education. I wish to spend time observing someone in this field to give me the opportunity to learn as much as possible.  My ambition is to be able to work at Boston's Children's Hospital. I've always believed that this is where I'd be most successful towards achieve my career goals. I aspire to be at the top of my field in pediatrics. I plan on working hard to provide excellent care in a welcoming, stress-free environment for both the children and their families.
