Olivia Tilley is a harp soloist, educator, chamber musician, and orchestral harpist. She fell in love with the sound of the harp as a toddler while living in Asunción, Paraguay and began her formal training at the age of 7. Now, Olivia is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in harp performance at The Juilliard School. She has performed in multiple world-renowned concert venues such as the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. While in high school, Olivia was a National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Youth Fellow, Washington Musical Pathways Initiative Fellow, and a recipient of the 2022 Fortissima National Cohort with the Colburn School. In addition to this, she was a Principal Harpist for the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras and in 2022, was the Principal Harpist for Interlochen’s World Youth Symphony Orchestra where she also received the prestigious Fine Arts Award. Olivia has participated in multiple music competitions, placing as 1st alternate in the American Youth Symphonic Orchestra Soloist Competition in 2021, 3rd in the 2021-2022 Marine Band Concerto Competition and receiving an honorable mention in the 2022 and 2023 U.S. Army Orchestra Young Artist Competition. Olivia loves playing everything from Bach, Pop, to Broadway, and enjoys sharing beautiful music to inspire and uplift audiences.
