Bio

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Minor in Public Health at Boston University, where I am dedicated to both my musical development and exploring the intersection of health and the arts. I am committed to refining my craft as a musician while understanding how public health approaches can enrich communities. My performance experience spans multiple organizations, including Boston University orchestras, the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, and Boston Civic Orchestra. I have also had the privilege of participating in summer festivals such as the National Orchestral Institute, Chautauqua Institution, and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. In addition to performing, I am passionate about music education and community engagement. I teach bass to young students which has been an experience that has deepened my commitment to making music accessible for all. Alongside my musical endeavors, I actively engage with public health issues. Through my coursework, I explore how public health initiatives can be integrated into the cultural sector, particularly through applications such as music therapy in mental health. I have also developed experience with qualitative research methods to better understand community needs and outcomes. I am particularly interested in developing initiatives that use music as a tool for mental health support and community connection, and I aim to contribute to making the arts more accessible and inclusive.
