    Bold Hobbies Scholarship
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, writing, music, and drawing. These hobbies have been very close to my heart because they have helped me get through some very rough times in my life when I didn't know what else to do other than just something. It's an escape into a whole world of imagination where you can run free and have your problems just drift away, but while in the world happen to find a solution to the problem you were worried about the whole time. Reading books emerges you in a world that an author has created. With there being so many different genres out their to read it makes reading very interesting because there are all sorts of different topics and ideas that you could write about. Writing is very interesting to me because it's a story that you get to control. You can create the plot, create the world, make the words come to life on the page, and make your reader feel like they are experiencing the story. You can literally write about anything and nothing that is what makes writing so unique. Music is so unique in the way that listening to it makes you feel all sorts of emotions. Music brings back memories. Whether those memories are happy or sad, it's good to remember them because you can learn something from them. Drawing is one of my favorite hobbies because it helps me express myself creatively. Creating a piece of work with different mediums of art helps because it expresses thoughts and feelings that I can't find the words to expres myself.
    Bold Relaxation Scholarship
I take a couple of days per week to relax to take care of myself. I do activities that I like or I will go for a walk. It's important to remember to slow down and take time to take care of yourself because like gets really busy. If you forget to take care of yourself that is really bad because then you get sick then you are miserable and then no one is happy.
    Bold Empathy Scholarship
I make sure to treat others with empathy by listening to their problems, offering advice, and helping with the situations. By listening to their problems I am showing them empathy because sometimes people just need someone to listen to their problems. Offering advice with great communication skills for someone's problem to help find a solution to a problem is a way to show empathy but it is ultimately their decision if they take your advice and put it into practice. Helping with solving the problem shows empathy because you are helping slove the problem if the person so chooses you to help.
    Bold Confidence Matters Scholarship
Confidence is being totally and completely comfortable with who you are. It's about knowing who you are and what you stand for no matter what others say about you. Confidence is about being complete with who you are. It took me a while to be confident with who I am, I have been working on that for a couple of years. I feel that my confidence has come to an all-time high and I have never been more confident than now. I am very happy with who I am.

Throughout school, I have always wanted to be an elementary school teacher. I love to help people. One of my many skills is getting along with people and understanding people, along with their needs. In elementary school, I had some really amazing teachers that inspired me to become a teacher. They always made school fun and exciting. My teachers did a great job of making the work thrilling in a way that I loved coming to school and couldn’t be more ecstatic for school. They made every day a new adventure. Those teachers were always available to help you understand your lessons and help you with the work. I want to be a teacher because they were such amazing teachers and made me realize at a young age that life will give you challenges and you have to look for the good in things. Ever since my siblings were little I have always helped take care of them. Helping my younger siblings has helped prepare me for teaching. Anytime that there is an opportunity for me to help a child with something I try my best to help them with the resources that I have available to me. I am the second oldest of seven children. Being one of the other children in the house they come to me with problems when they need help. Some of my siblings have some learning disabilities therefore I have some ways that I have to help them learn. With my siblings having disabilities; having to adapt to being able to explain the material in a way that they understand, the teaching style, therefore, the whole class will understand.
    Bold Nature Matters Scholarship
I love nature because it is so surreal. The jaw-dropping, unreal, magnificent beauty of the trees, flowers, birds, sunsets, sunrises and all the pretty colors of the fall has this wonderful unique feeling of claiming and peace. Sitting in the field, with my eyes closed and listing to the birds' crip with the warm sun beaming down on my skin while I daydream. That's why I apprentice nature because there are so many different sites to see.
    Bold Financial Freedom Scholarship
Some of the most helpful pieces of financial advice that I have ever received is to put a third of your paycheck into savings and put a fixed amount into retirement every month therefore you built up your retirement fund at a young age. The reason that you put a third of your paycheck into savings is for an emergency because you can't predict when an emergency is going to strike.
    Bold Financial Literacy Scholarship
One personal finance lesson that I have found important is that you should put a third of your paycheck in savings and put a little away for retirement each month. It's important because if an emergency happens you have a good emergency fund. You have no idea when an incident happens. It's very important to start saving for retirement while you are young because you don't want to start while you are older because you won't have enough money in the bank to continue to live your life style without any changes.

Being one of the other children in the house they come to me with problems when they need help. Children are the future of the economy. Their young, bright minds are there to be enriched with the knowledge that they will need in the future. I want to be a teacher to help children love coming to school because it’s an adventure because they never know what is going to happen the next day. I want to help children gain a love for learning because school is the fountain of their future. As a student who once didn’t particularly like school as a child before having an amazing teacher that made me enjoy school, I want to help children in the future have the benefit of enjoying school throughout the years they attend. My teachers in elementary school were very caring and had a lot of compassion for their students and their jobs. When I was in first grade I had an astounding teacher that really inspired me to want to be a teacher. She really cared about her job and made learning really enjoyable. Throughout the year she planned little games into her lessons. One game that I remember playing was around the world. It was a math game that made learning fun. I didn’t enjoy math before playing the game. After playing the game a couple of times I realized that I was really good at math and really enjoyed it. Not only did around the world help us learn math and enjoy learning it made me learn without even realizing it. My first-grade teacher would always have little things around the room like animals and toys to help us understand certain topics we were learning about. The teacher would have different animals like cats and dogs for when we were learning about the different types of animals and facts about them with a visual representation. Some different types of toys she had were little action figures or dolls of sorts to help us understand plants and the cycles of life that plants go through. She really inspired me to want to be a teacher because she was patient, kind, and understanding.
    Moriah Janae Dance Grant
Dance is an art form that helps people express themselves. When you dance you are free; there is no fear about others judging you, it's you and your mat. Dance is an art form because it takes different skills and balance. Dance takes tons of practice and motivation to complete the routine. Learning all those routines takes lots of time and dedication. You can apply what you learn from dance into other areas of your life. Learning dance teaches a young child about time management, dedication, hard work, and the importance of creativity.
    Bold Creativity Scholarship
Applying creativity to my life is something I do on a daily because I always find something every day that I can creatively do or do something creative like draw or color. Creativity can be any little thing from the color of the outfit you wear to the type of jewelry you wear. Creativity doesn't solely have to be art-based like so many people think.

    Bold Persistence Scholarship
I was eight years old when my sister was brought home from the hospital. Two weeks later my two cousins came to live with us because their parents couldn't take of them. They have ADHD and Autsum along with learning disorders. My cousins were three and four years old. They didn't have any proper behavioral training. Along with that, they didn't know how to speak in proper sentences. I helped my parents because it was like getting three newborn babies all at once and they had four children alrighty. It was hard because the boys were put through a lot in their three-four years that back then I didn't understand. I set up and helped to the best of my abilities. It ended up being a lot for my parents so we ended up having my cousins live with our grandmother.
    Bold Caring for Seniors Scholarship
One thing that I can do to improve the lives of the elderly people in my community is to visit the senior center, be involved in some of the events that they have, plan events so they don't feel so isolated from the world, and help them with daily activities that they need help with. Visiting the elderly people at the senior center brightens their day because a lot of the time their family just leaves them in the center and never comes back to visit. Therefore visiting you make their day because the elderly people miss that interaction with their family. Just a couple of hours, a couple of times a week will make their day and you could learn so much from the elderly. They have so many stories about life and advice to give because they have alright the experience the most out of it. By visiting the elderly people in the senior center they don't feel so isolated from the world because they have human interaction other than with the doctors and the nurses they see every day. Helping elderly people with daily activities like crossing the street so they don't get hit or grocery shopping if you see that they are struggling. By helping them they will be very thankful and glad that you did and remember it for a while.
    Bold Great Minds Scholarship
Someone from history that I admire is Abraham Lincoln. I admire him because he is best known for liberating the enslaved states from the south of America. Abraham Lincoln is known to be one of America's greatest heroes. There was a lot that needed to be done afterward, but Abraham Lincoln was the one that had the foundations started. Nothing is ever perfect in the beginning and always needs fixing. I also admire Abraham Lincoln because he came from a humble background. He didn't have very much growing up. He knew what it was like to grow up; as a normal American citizen with problems. Abraham Lincoln was mostly self-educated therefore he didn't have access to schools because there weren't any in the area.
    Bold Bucket List Scholarship
Some of the things that are on my bucket list are it travels around the world, exploring and learning new cultures, and being able to reach the lives of children when I become a teacher. I want to travel around the world and explore different areas. I like seeing all the differnt archives and learning the history of the town, village, city, or area. Everywhere has a unique story and you can always learn something new from them. I want to explore and learn about new cultures because I don't that much about other beliefs. I only know about the differences in the cultural beliefs in the area where I come from, but there is a whole world out there with many different diverse people out there. Therefore, you can learn so many different things from those people. As a teacher, I hope to touch the lives of the children I teach. I hope that I impact those children in a positive light. I want those kids to love learning. I want those children to walk out of my classroom to have an appreciation for learning and have an excitement for learning because elementary school sets the foundation for their school careers. What I have achieved so far is I have traveled around a little a The United States, I am taking steps to become a teacher, and I am taking with people of different backgrounds and taking classes to learn more about different curltues. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me.
    Bold Great Books Scholarship
My favorite book is a book series called, "The Keepers of The Lost Cities" by Shannon Messanger. It is my favorite because it is a relatable story about a teenage girl who even though it is a fantasy book with a very realistic undertone about how girl growing up. It's about a girl growing up and learning all these life lessons. There were all these fantasy obstacles and adventures that were thrown at the girl, however, there was always a real-life lesson to be learned from the problem. The book is about friendships and finding inner strength, along with perseverance and detemerntion. This book series has become one of my favorites because it is not only a fantasy adventure but a teenage girl's experience of life and growing up. She goes through relatable situations as a part of growing up. She meets boys, and new friends, and learns how to discover inner strength.
