I’m a sophomore at Wellesley College majoring in Biochemistry and Middle Eastern Studies, with a focus on tackling healthcare disparities in marginalized communities, especially Arab and MENA populations. I have experience in both experimental and computational research, including developing tools for understanding the cancer genome and studying STEM education dynamics in Arabic-speaking households. I’m passionate about biomedical research and advocate for greater MENA representation in science and healthcare. I am also involved in on-campus activities, such as the Wellesley College Archery Team, the Muslim Student Association, and the Arab Student Alliance.
