I am interested in the criminal justice field because I truly believe that there are flaws in the system. Ever since I was a child I dreamed of being a criminal attorney. I want to be the voice for all that have not been given a voice or justice they deserve. When I become a lawyer I want to also be a public defender because not everyone is fortunate enough to have the funds needed for a attorney. Being a voice or safe place for anyone in need is what I plan to do. I want to further move my community from the darkness and shed light on all of the wrongs in the justice system. I want to be the person who helps put criminals in jail. I want to be the voice for children who were murder, and for those who were simply not heard. I plan on also owning my own law firm and having paid interns such as teens who are interested in the criminal justices system and also need a job. I don’t only want to be a public defender but a resource in my community. I want to be an example for any of the less fortunate kids who grow up believe that their goals of being an attorney is so far out of reach. I have had the experience of knowing from a young age that their are flaws in the justice system. I have seen first hand what not having the money to afford an attorney does to families. Growing up less fortunate is not a good experience and I want to became a lawyer to be their for the less fortunate. I want be the idol for children who were just like me. I believe that by becoming apart of the justice can help me fix the injustice inside of the system. In my community most of the attorneys are males. I want to become an attorney to show little girls that they too can become an attorney, and they have a voice as well. I want to become an attorney because in my community there is a man who has been missing for well over five years and I want to be the voice for his family. I want to leave the world knowing I left an impact and if I can’t leave an impact on the world. Leaving an impact in my country is enough for me.
