Bio
From my extra-curricular activities and hobbies, I've come to enjoy dance the most. Dancing has always been a passion for me, and what I truly love is that you get to tell a story through your movements. Dance has given me a space to express my creativity and has given me a safe community of loving people. It has taught me so many life lessons, like perseverance and hope, but most importantly, has allowed me to understand my emotions and feelings, as well as acted as a reliever from all the other things going on in my life. A future goal of mine that I've always wanted to pursue is traveling to countries that don't have proper access to education and STEM opportunities, and providing them with it. Something I've always believed in is that education is the foundation of our world. Through education, we are able to discover revolutionary ideas and advance our world for the greater good. I believe that kids are the driving factor toward a better society and that it all starts with a spark. This spark, however, begins from an education, making it of utmost importance that everyone receives these learning opportunities. Neurosurgery has always been a career that I've known I want to go into since a young age. I find how the brain functions really intriguing, and I've always held a curiosity for how it really works. I've also always had a passion for helping people around my community and neurosurgeons are able to make a true difference in an individual's life. I'm always looking for a challenge and finding ways around it which neurosurgeons must do every day.
