Future surgeon and mother. My mantra is just a little act of kindness can make the biggest difference. I am an exceptionally hard worker at anything I pursue, especially school. After retirement I hope to get into politics and do the best that I can to make the world a better place.

    Bold Bucket List Scholarship
I've always had the desire to see the world, so many things on the list are about just that. My bucket list includes: Run for U.S. President, tour Europe, visit Washington DC, ride in a hot air balloon, fly an airplane, Taylor Swift concert, go night surfing, go sky diving, bungee jump with my sister, and visit every state at least once. Some of the goals will take quite a bit of work like, "fly an airplane" or "run for president" but I plan to attain that one once I have retired and have some extra time on my hands. These goals are lofty but I believe that I can achieve them all through hard work. Sadly I haven't achieved anything on my bucket list. I don't have the necessary funds to do so, but in the future, as an adult, I will make it a priority to achieve them all.
    Bold Selfless Acts Scholarship
Key relationships are made when two people are kind and selfless to one another, and I am a very social person. The more selfless and caring I am the more great relationships that I can develop with others. Every year since 6th grade I've handed out a heart with a candy to every person at my school on valentines day. I make them all, and sign them personally. Each heart says, "you are loved" In elementary school everyone gets a valentine but as soon as Junior High comes it isn't like that anymore. My first year of junior high I felt like everyone else had received a valentine except me. So I decided that every single person at my school would get a valentine from now on. Valentines day is now my favorite day of the year, i love making others happy so much! Last year it was going to be in the news but with the Covid-19 pandemic the visit to my school wasn't possible. By showing my love for others in this way I have developed new relationships and strengthened old ones.

    Bold Perseverance Scholarship
My family became foster parents to three little kids from Georgia. They were emotionally and physically damaged from their drug addicted mother. We cared for them for a year but then they were taken away and given to a far off extended family member. I loved those kids so much, after they had left I fell into a state of deep depression. I felt that there was no way out and that I couldn't live without them. One thing after another happened in my life after that and I thought about suicide. my best friend found out how I was feeling and he got me help. Since then I have been a much happier person but now I have a new sense of empathy to those that experienced or have experienced the same difficulty. I have gone from the lowest point in my life to one of the highest, now I am playing sports and at the top of my class in academics. I hope that one day that I may be able to see those kids again.

God makes me happy. He is the cornerstone for all things that bring me joy. His peace and guidance helps me in times of distress, and support me on my journey. His perfect love is my saving grace, and I wouldn't be anything without him. When I find myself struggling, I fall to my knees in prayer. No matter what friends and family might come and go, he is everlasting.
