Hello, My name is Noha, but I go by and prefer Cadence. I am 16 years old. I identify as Black, Queer, and Jewish. I live in Washington Heights, and I currently attend The Chapin School in the Upper East Side and will be a junior this upcoming fall. When I am older, I hope to pursue a career in public service, because I believe that society is currently lacking several necessary key infrastructures that would create a better life and future for countless civilians worldwide. The lack of is causing an incredible amount of instability, inhumane suffering, and unimaginable inequality. I hope to create and implement structures that guarantee equality, security, prosperity, and overall peace of mind for all citizens, regardless of background and identity. Even if this is not possible, I hope that I can help people understand the role that apathy and indifference are playing in our present, and will continue to play in our future, if we don’t change.
