His passing at the age of 72 was unexpected, but he left me with a legacy that has given me renewed hope and strength for the future.
Growing up, I had a really strong relationship with my grandfather, and his death devastated me. It did, however, lead me to shift my efforts toward cultivating my hobbies and aiming to be the greatest version of myself. Throughout my middle and high school years, I worked hard to make my grandfather proud, and I continue to try to do so. Looking back, I can say that my grandfather's death provided the impetus for my great concentration and resolve for the future.

On the other hand, the death of my grandfather was a spark that motivated me to take advantage of every opportunity and build a better tomorrow. I am confident that by making him proud, I will be able to accomplish my goals, and I am thankful for the time I got to spend with him.

Online gaming forums are virtual spaces where individuals gather to discuss and play video games. These forums often house engaged and passionate communities of gamers who share a common interest in gaming. However, like any online community, there is a risk that some members may engage in behaviors that go against accepted norms of civil discourse and actions. This phenomenon, known as "toxic behavior," can have a negative impact on the overall atmosphere of a gaming forum and can also spill over into real-life social interactions. As a low-income, first generation, Hispanic student who is interested in studying computer science, I have personally experienced the effects of toxic behavior in online gaming forums. Growing up, I was an avid fan of video games and often spent hours playing and chatting with other players in online forums. While I made some great friends through these forums, I also encountered players who were rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. These players seemed to believe that because they were online, they could say and do whatever they wanted without any consequences. They would harass other players, use offensive language, and engage in other types of toxic behavior that made the forum a less enjoyable place to be.
The impact of toxic behavior in online gaming forums can be particularly harmful for marginalized communities like mine. As a low-income, first generation, Hispanic student, I already face a number of barriers and challenges in my daily life. I may not have the same access to resources or support as my more privileged peers, and I may be more vulnerable to discrimination and prejudice. When I encounter toxic behavior in online gaming forums, it can feel like yet another obstacle that I have to overcome. It can be disheartening and demoralizing, and it can make me feel like I don't belong in the gaming community. The effects of toxic behavior in online gaming forums can also extend beyond the virtual world and into real-life social interactions. When people are exposed to toxic behavior online, they may be more likely to engage in similar behaviors offline. For example, if someone sees other players using offensive language or making rude comments in an online gaming forum, they may be more likely to use similar language or behavior in their everyday interactions with others. This can lead to a cycle of toxic behavior that becomes increasingly difficult to break. In order to address the problem of noxious conduct in internet gaming discussion forums, it is essential to take action to produce a more tolerant and deferential online ambiance. This involves establishing explicit regulations and anticipations for behavior, and executing measures to uphold those regulations when they are not complied with. It also necessitates forming secure arenas where people can assemble and partake in meaningful talks and interactions without apprehension of mistreatment or bias.
As an individual who is devoted to exploring computer science, I am devoted to utilizing my abilities and understanding to assist in developing a more constructive and accepting online atmosphere. I deeply believe that by cooperating and standing together, we can form a gaming society that is hospitable and respectful to all.

Growing up in Miami has been a wild ride for me. I arrived here from Cuba when I was eleven years old, and my mom and I strived diligently to set up a fresh life in a fresh area. Even though I was full of optimism for the future, I also encountered several hard hurdles. One of the most significant challenges I had to face was mastering English. Coming from a Spanish-speaking country, I was already behind my classmates in the classroom, and I had to work even harder to catch up. I recall how disheartened I felt when I would battle to comprehend my teachers and classmates, feeling like I was always a step behind. I was determined to learn the language, though, and I dedicated myself to studying and practicing English whenever I could.
I attended after-school English classes, read books in English, and watched English-language television shows to gain a better grip. I was also fortunate to have friends who were patient with me and assisted me to learn the language. I gradually gained more assurance and was able to comprehend more and more of what was being said in the classroom. One of the obstacles I had to face was the move to a new educational system. In my native land, I had plenty of people to turn to for assistance and support. Nonetheless, when I relocated to the United States, I had to create a whole new support system of reliable individuals. Fortunately, I was able to find aid from kind teachers and advisors that took the time to understand me and help me adjust to my new environment. In addition, I also encountered economic uncertainty. My mother and I had to battle to make ends meet due to our limited financial means. To contribute to the household, I was forced to work long hours. Maintaining a job and performing well in school was a formidable task, but I was determined to succeed in my studies. Despite the difficulties, I kept going and am pleased with the progress I have made.
To conclude, I have faced a number of struggles, but I have constantly striven to prevail over them. With commitment and determination, I have been able to tackle these obstacles and accomplish my goals. I am enthusiastic to pursue a career in computer science and am confident I can deal with any future issues that may come my way.

I have been impacted by many different applications, services, products, and people while pursuing my interest in this invigorating field. Nevertheless, there is one corporation that has truly stood out to me as a future frontrunner in the tech industry and has motivated me to delve deeper into the world of technology: Google.
From its search engine to its inventive goods and services, Google has consistently demonstrated its devotion to advancing technology and making it more obtainable and useful for people all over the world. Whether it's through its agreements with universities and research institutions, its attempts to form a more sustainable and ecologically friendly corporation, or its commitment to variety and inclusivity, Google has consistently set the bar for what it means to be a leader in the tech industry. One part of Google that particularly stands out to me is its dedication to artificial intelligence (AI) research and development. As someone who is interested in studying computer science, I am intrigued by the capability of AI to alter the way we live and work. Google has been at the forefront of this field for many years, and I am inspired by the company's initiatives to use AI for good and to make it more accessible and practical for people all over the world.
In terms of what I would change or do to affect the tech industry, I consider that one of the most prominent issues facing the industry now is the deficiency of variety and inclusivity. While the tech industry has made some progress in recent times in terms of diversity and inclusion, there is still a long way to go. I would love to see more companies, like Google, take a proactive approach to encouraging and supporting underrepresented groups, such as women and minorities, to enter the tech industry and succeed. One manner to do this would be to invest in education and training programs that are specifically designed to reach these groups and give them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the tech industry. This could consist of offering coding classes or workshops in underserved communities or partnering with organizations that are already doing this type of work.
I also believe that the tech industry has a social and moral obligation to be inclusive to all customers. Technology is becoming progressively prevailing in our everyday lives, and it has the power to shape and influence society in countless ways. Therefore, it is essential that the tech industry represents and serves the necessities and interests of all members of society, not just a select few. Inclusive design and development practices are essential to guaranteeing that technology is accessible and useful for everybody, no matter their background or abilities. This implies considering the needs of persons with disabilities, people from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and people with a wide range of device preferences and usage patterns.
To conclude, Google has been a major influence in my decision to go after a career in computer science, and I believe that the tech industry has a duty to be inclusive and accessible to all customers. By investing in education and training programs for underrepresented groups and accepting inclusive design practices, we can create a more diverse and inclusive tech industry that benefits everyone.
