I am a US Army Combat Veteran. I deployed twice to Afghanistan in 2014, and 2017. Once I got out of the Army, I worked as a contractor in Iraq. After that, I returned to college to complete my undergrad in Microbiology. Once I graduate I want to go to graduates school and get my PhD in Microbiology. My goal is to become an astronaut. After my career as an astronaut I want to get into public speaking and tell people about my abstract path through higher education and tell people there is no "normal" way to go through life, and to follow their dreams, regardless of how big they seem.
