My goal is to be able to compose music as a viable source of income. To achieve this, I plan on learning my craft more in-depth at a music school. I currently plan to be a freelance composer and pianist for my career. As a freelance composer, I plan to teach and make connections and find people who are searching for styles that I can best create. As a pianist, I plan to teach and play at gigs that pay enough. The appealing part of being a freelance composer and pianist to me is being able to build connections with other musicians and perform on the side. I am also considering going into film scoring. I often enjoy film music and I occasionally compose little segments that sound like film music. My primary source of income will be teaching lessons privately due to the enjoyment of interacting with passionate musicians one-on-one and teaching lessons can quickly become a stable source of income.
