As a BSN, RN candidate for Elmhurst University's Class of 2026, my passion lies in delivering compassionate and comprehensive healthcare across all age groups. I aim to promote wellness, prevent diseases, and manage conditions through evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care. After completing my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, I intend to pursue a Doctorate of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Nursing Practice. My commitment to community service is demonstrated through volunteer work at Synapse House, aiding individuals with strokes or traumatic brain injuries. I've collaborated with professionals in various therapies and organized donation drives for local charities like the York Township Food Pantry and Helping Hands Homeless Foundation. Driven by a desire to advance healthcare, I've researched Central Auditory Processing Disorder's impact and work part-time at Davita Kidney Care. My diverse patient experience includes autism, Alzheimer's, strokes, and more. Additionally, I've completed clinical observation hours certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In Spring 2025, I plan to conduct an Independent Study on the correlation between healthcare communication and Autism Spectrum Disorders, aiming to contribute to healthcare practices and improve outcomes for diverse patient needs.
