I am a driven and service-oriented student at Quinnipiac University, pursuing studies in legal studies and sports management. I have been working since the age of 12, developing a strong work ethic, independence, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
Growing up in a single-parent household, I was inspired by my mother’s dedication to nonprofit work, which shaped my commitment to service and community impact. In seventh grade, after noticing classmates being bullied for wearing worn clothing, I took initiative and applied for a community service grant to create a solution. With that funding, I founded the Clothing Closet, a confidential program that provides students with access to new and gently used clothing. In its first year, the program collected over 3,500 items and has continued to grow annually, helping hundreds of students and their families. Through grants and partnerships, I have raised over $5,000 to sustain and expand the initiative.
In addition, I have gained leadership experience in athletics as a Division I ice hockey manager, strengthening my communication, organization, and leadership skills. My commitment to service was recognized with the Altruism Award, given to one student in my graduating class.
I am passionate about using my career in the sports industry to create meaningful impact and advocate for communities in need.
