Each month, I assist with preparing meals and walking through different areas of the city to distribute food to people who may not have access to a warm meal that day. During these outreach efforts, I have had the opportunity to speak with individuals who are facing difficult circumstances. These conversations have helped me better understand the challenges many people face, including homelessness, unemployment, and lack of access to support systems.
