Soccer, a sport that has been my constant companion since childhood, has not only provided exhilarating moments of victory but has also tested my resolve in the face of adversity. In my soccer journey, I have encountered both the worst of times and the best of times. These contrasting experiences have molded my character, teaching me invaluable life lessons of perseverance, resilience, and determination. This essay will delve into the challenges I faced, the lessons I learned, and how the pursuit of soccer has shaped my work ethic, self-discipline, and ultimately, my personal growth. The worst time in my soccer career occurred during my junior year in high school. I was unexpectedly plagued by a series of injuries that left me sidelined for the majority of the season. However, it was precisely during this challenging period that I discovered the true depth of my passion for soccer. Determined to overcome my setbacks, I embraced a rigorous rehabilitation program and worked tirelessly to regain my strength and agility. Slowly but surely, I made a triumphant return to the field. The demanding nature of the sport requires unwavering commitment, rigorous training, and the ability to push past one's limits. Throughout my life, I have always believed in the importance of helping others and creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for myself and my peers. One example of this is when I helped persuade one of my close friends to stop their drug and alcohol abuse and to lead a healthier, more positive lifestyle. I noticed my friend's behavior changing and becoming more erratic over time, and I knew that they were struggling with addiction. I knew that I had to take action and help them before things spiraled out of control. I approached my friend with compassion and understanding, explaining my concerns and my desire to help them. I shared with them my own experiences with addiction and how I overcame them through self-discipline and positive habits. Together, we worked on creating a plan for my friend to overcome their addiction and start living a healthier life. I encouraged them to focus on self-discipline and to take steps toward a positive and fulfilling future. I took them to the gym with me, showing them how physical exercise can be a powerful tool in overcoming addiction and building a positive mindset. I also encouraged them to seek out professional help and support and connected them with resources and support networks in our community. Through our efforts, my friend was able to overcome their addiction and start living a healthier, happier life. This experience taught me the importance of being a positive influence in the lives of others, and of using my own experiences to help others overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. In addition to helping my friend overcome addiction, I also promote self-discipline and positive habits in all aspects of my life. I encourage others to take control of their own lives and to focus on personal growth and development. I often say to my friends, "Go to the gym, work hard, conquer your mind, and lead as a positive influence in the world." I believe that these habits and practices are key to living a healthy and fulfilling life, and I strive to be a role model for others in this regard. Beyond promoting self-discipline and positive habits, I also work to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for myself and my peers. I believe that everyone deserves to feel accepted and valued, regardless of their background, identity, or experiences. I make a conscious effort to be a supportive and understanding friend to those around me and to speak out against discrimination and hate in all forms. I believe that creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere requires empathy, compassion, and an open mind. I strive to listen to others and understand their perspectives, and to create a space where everyone feels heard and respected. I also believe that education and awareness are key to promoting inclusivity and acceptance, and I make a conscious effort to learn about different cultures, identities, and experiences. In conclusion, helping others and creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere is a fundamental aspects of who I am as a person. From persuading my friend to overcome addiction to promoting self-discipline and positive habits, and from creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere to advocating for social justice and equality, I believe that we all have a responsibility to make the world a better place. As a young highschool student with a passion for learning and personal growth, there is no greater excitement than the prospect of attending college. The opportunities for academic and personal development are limitless, and I am eager to take full advantage of them. While the prospect of academic challenge and growth is exhilarating, it is important to maintain and balance a healthy mind, body, and soul amidst the pressures and challenges of college life. Practicing mindfulness has also helped me to stay focused and motivated when faced with difficult academic challenges. While physical exercise and mindfulness have been key components in maintaining my overall well-being, I also recognize the importance of social connection and support. College can be a daunting and isolating experience, and it is important to have a network of friends and mentors to lean on during challenging times. I have sought out clubs and organizations on campus that align with my interests and values, and have formed strong connections with fellow students and faculty members. Ultimately, maintaining a healthy mind, body, and soul is not something that can be accomplished overnight. It requires a sustained effort and commitment to personal growth and well-being. In college, I am excited to continue this journey of self-discovery and development, and to take advantage of the countless opportunities for growth and learning that college has to offer. While the challenges and pressures of college can be daunting, I am confident in my ability to overcome them with a commitment to physical and mental well-being. By utilizing the gym and physical exercise as tools for self-discipline and conquering my mind, and by prioritizing self-care through mindfulness and social connection, I am confident that I can maintain a healthy mind, body, and soul throughout my college journey. In conclusion, the prospect of attending college is an exciting one, filled with opportunities for academic and personal growth. As a responsible citizen of this planet, I am aware of the impact that our daily choices have on the environment. Therefore, I have made intentional choices to live sustainably in my daily life. From reducing my use of plastic to cycling instead of driving, every action I take is aimed at reducing my carbon footprint. I believe that reducing our carbon footprint is crucial for the sustainability of our planet. Climate change is a real thing, and we have already started experiencing its effects. From rising sea levels to extreme weather conditions, the impacts are far-reaching and affect every aspect of our lives. Therefore, it is prominent for collective action to reduce our carbon footprint and mitigate the effects of climate change. One personal story that I can share is my decision to switch to a vegetarian diet. I was never a huge meat eater, but I had always thought of it as an essential part of my diet. However, after researching the environmental impact of meat consumption, I decided to give up meat entirely for 3 months. After my horrible experience of how farmers treat livestock, fruits, and vegetables, I knew it was a time for change. Livestock farming is responsible for a significant percentage of greenhouse gas emissions, and reducing meat consumption is an effective way to reduce our carbon footprint. Since switching to a vegetarian diet, I have noticed several positive changes in my life. For starters, I feel healthier and more energized than ever before. I have also discovered new foods and flavors that I never would have tried if I had continued with my meat-centric diet. Most importantly, I know that I am doing my part to reduce my impact on the environment. Aside from my dietary choices, I have also made several other intentional choices to live sustainably. For example, I always carry a reusable water bottle with me and avoid single-use plastic bottles whenever possible. I also use reusable bags when shopping, and I recycle as much as I can. Another way that I reduce my carbon footprint is by cycling instead of driving. I live in a city with excellent bike infrastructure, so cycling is not only good for the environment, but it's also a practical mode of transportation. Not only does cycling reduce my carbon footprint, but it also helps me stay active and healthy. In conclusion, I believe that reducing our carbon footprint is critical for the sustainability of our planet. It's not just about making small changes in our daily lives, but also about creating a culture of sustainability that permeates every aspect of our society. By making intentional choices to live sustainably, we can all do our part to reduce our impact on the environment and mitigate the effects of climate change.

If I could have everyone in the world read just one book, it would be "The Laws of Human Nature" by Robert Greene. This insightful and thought-provoking book is a comprehensive guide to understanding human behavior and relationships. It offers practical advice on how to navigate social dynamics, manage emotions, and develop strong interpersonal skills. In "The Laws of Human Nature," Greene draws on extensive research from psychology, philosophy, and history to present a compelling analysis of human behavior. He argues that all people are driven by fundamental needs and desires, such as the need for power, the desire for attention, and the fear of death. By understanding these underlying motivations, Greene contends that we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. One of the key strengths of this book is the way it provides actionable insights into how to interact with people more effectively. Greene provides numerous examples of how to manage difficult personalities, negotiate effectively, and build stronger relationships. He stresses the importance of empathy and emotional intelligence, showing how these qualities can help us become more successful in both our personal and professional lives. Perhaps the most compelling reason why everyone should read "The Laws of Human Nature" is that it encourages us to become more self-aware. By understanding our own motivations and biases, we can become more effective at managing our emotions and making better decisions. This book not only teaches you how to recognize these laws of human nature, but also how to implement these laws for a successful life. This self-awareness can also help us become more empathetic and understanding of others, which can lead to more harmonious relationships. Overall, "The Laws of Human Nature" is a powerful and insightful book that has the potential to change the way we interact with others. By providing a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, Greene empowers readers to become more self-aware and empathetic. The universe we live in is vast and mysterious, with so much yet to be discovered and understood. As humans, it is our natural inclination to explore and seek out knowledge, and the study of the universe is no exception. I believe that it is incredibly important that we work to better understand the nature of our universe, as doing so has the potential to unlock insights and advancements that could change our world in ways we can hardly imagine. At the heart of this pursuit lies the question of what the universe is made of and how it functions. The quest to uncover these mysteries has been ongoing for centuries, with scientific theories and discoveries gradually shedding light on previously unknown aspects of the universe. From the study of gravity and the properties of matter to the inner workings of black holes, we have made incredible strides in our understanding of the universe. But there is still so much we don't know, and so much yet to be explored. That's why it's important that we continue to push the boundaries of our understanding, and employ new ideas and concepts to do so. One such concept is that of dark matter and dark energy, which are believed to make up the majority of the universe despite being invisible to us. Investigating these phenomena could lead to a greater understanding of the structure and composition of the universe. Another important area of study is that of the origins of the universe itself. The Big Bang Theory is currently the most widely accepted explanation for the creation of the universe, but there is still much to be learned about what happened in the moments and years after the Big Bang. By delving deeper into this topic, we may be able to answer some of the most fundamental questions about our existence. But why is all of this important? One reason is that the knowledge we gain from studying the universe has practical applications that can improve our lives here on Earth. For example, our understanding of gravity has led to advancements in everything from transportation to medicine, while our study of cosmic rays has given us important insights into the workings of the human body. In addition to practical applications, the study of the universe can also have profound philosophical implications. The realization that we are just one small part of a vast and complex universe can help us to gain perspective and appreciate the interconnectedness of all things. So how can we continue to push the boundaries of our understanding of the universe? One way is through the use of new technologies, such as powerful telescopes and particle accelerators. These tools allow us to observe the universe in ways that were previously impossible and can help us to uncover new insights and phenomena. Another important approach is a collaboration between scientists and researchers from different disciplines. By combining expertise from fields such as physics, astronomy, and biology, we can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the universe and its workings. Finally, it's important to continue to push the limits of what we know and to remain open to new ideas and concepts. Many of the most significant scientific breakthroughs throughout history have come from individuals who were willing to challenge conventional wisdom and think outside the box. In conclusion, the study of the universe is an incredibly important pursuit that has the potential to unlock insights and advancements that could change our world in profound ways. By continuing to push the boundaries of our understanding, employing new ideas and technologies, and collaborating across disciplines, we can continue to make incredible strides in our knowledge of the universe. Ultimately, this pursuit has the potential to inspire new discoveries and advancements that could have a positive impact on all aspects of our lives.
      Healthy Eating Scholarship
Healthy eating habits are crucial for overall well-being, both physically and mentally. Eating a balanced diet that is rich in nutrients can have a positive impact on our health and can prevent many chronic diseases. I believe that it is important to have healthy eating habits because our bodies need proper nutrition to function optimally. When we practice healthy eating habits, we are providing our bodies with the necessary nutrients to support our physical health. This means eating a variety of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats. By consuming these foods, we are providing our bodies with essential vitamins and minerals that promote healthy growth, repair of tissues, and the maintenance of our immune system. In addition to physical health benefits, healthy eating habits can also have a positive impact on our mental health. Research has shown that a healthy diet can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and can even improve cognitive function. A balanced diet that is rich in nutrients can help to regulate mood and energy levels, reducing the risk of mental health disorders. Personally, I have noticed a significant difference in my physical and mental health when I practice healthy eating habits. When I eat a balanced diet that is rich in nutrients, I have more energy throughout the day and I feel more focused and alert. On the other hand, when I consume foods that are high in sugar and unhealthy fats, I feel sluggish and my concentration levels decrease. In terms of physical health, healthy eating habits have helped me to maintain a healthy weight and have reduced my risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. I have also noticed an improvement in my skin health and have experienced fewer digestive issues. It is important to note that healthy eating habits do not have to be restrictive or limiting. It is possible to enjoy a variety of foods while still maintaining a balanced diet. One way to achieve this is by practicing moderation and portion control. In addition to personal benefits, healthy eating habits also have a positive impact on the environment. Eating a plant-based diet can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce our carbon footprint. Additionally, consuming locally-sourced foods can support local farmers and reduce the environmental impact of transportation. In conclusion, I believe that healthy eating habits are crucial for overall well-being. A balanced diet that is rich in nutrients can have a positive impact on our physical and mental health, as well as the environment. Personally, I have noticed a significant difference in my health when I practice healthy eating habits. I strive to maintain a balanced diet by consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats, while also practicing moderation and portion control.

Feminism is a social, political and cultural movement that aims to achieve equality between all genders. It is the belief that everyone should have the same opportunities, regardless of their gender. Feminism addresses issues such as the wage gap, gender-based violence, and reproductive rights. It is important because it seeks to create a society that is fair and just for all. One person who has been an inspiration to me in regards to feminism is my mother. My mother grew up in a society that was not particularly welcoming to women. Despite this, she pursued higher education and a career in a male-dominated field. My mother's determination and resilience have shown me the importance of fighting for gender equality. My mother has always encouraged me to be independent and to pursue my dreams, regardless of what others might think. She has taught me that women are just as capable as men and that gender should not limit anyone's potential. My mother's example has inspired me to be a feminist and to fight for gender equality. In my community and school, I am contributing to the feminist movement by promoting awareness and education about gender-based issues. We organize events to raise awareness about issues such as sexual harassment, reproductive rights, and gender-based violence. One personal experience that stands out to me regarding feminism towards my mom is when she was overlooked for a promotion at her job despite being the most qualified candidate. It was clear that she was not given the promotion because of her gender. This experience showed me how important it is to fight against gender discrimination in the workplace. I remember seeing how upset my mother was when she found out she had not been given the promotion. It made me angry that such blatant gender discrimination could occur in this day and age. This experience inspired me to learn more about gender-based discrimination and to become more active in fighting against it. In conclusion, feminism is an important movement that aims to achieve equality between all genders. My mother has been an inspiration to me in regards to feminism and has taught me the importance of fighting for gender equality. I am contributing to the feminist movement in my community and school by promoting awareness and education about gender-based issues. My personal experience with feminism towards my mom has shown me how important it is to fight against gender discrimination in all forms.

Drug and alcohol addiction is a devastating issue that can impact individuals and their loved ones in countless ways. Unfortunately, I have had both direct and indirect experiences with addiction that have deeply affected my beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. My direct experience with addiction came when a close family member struggled with alcoholism. Witnessing this person's addiction and the toll it took on their health and relationships was incredibly difficult. It taught the importance and power of ones mind, which is the only thing someone can control. It also taught me that addiction is a disease that requires professional help and support to overcome. It also made me realize the importance of advocating for those who struggle with addiction and fighting for better resources and treatment options. My indirect experience with addiction came when a close friend destroyed himself with drugs and alcohol. This friend was someone who had a bright future ahead of him, with aspirations to pursue a career in law enforcement. However, his addiction led him down a destructive path that eventually cost him his life. Seeing my friend's life unravel due to addiction was heartbreaking and made me realize how important it is to prioritize mental health and seek help when needed. It also motivated me to educate others on the dangers of addiction and the importance of seeking help. These experiences have deeply impacted my beliefs and values. I firmly believe that addiction is a disease that requires compassion and support to overcome. I also believe in advocating for better resources and treatment options for those who struggle with addiction. In terms of my relationships, these experiences have made me more empathetic and understanding of others. I have learned to be patient and non-judgmental when supporting someone through addiction or mental health issues. I have also learned the importance of setting healthy boundaries and prioritizing self-care to avoid burnout and compassion fatigue. In terms of my career aspirations, these experiences have solidified my desire to work in a field that helps others. I am currently pursuing a degree in psychology to become a licensed therapist. I hope to work with individuals and families impacted by addiction and mental health issues to provide support and resources for recovery. Additionally, I plan to use my platform to raise awareness about addiction and promote the destigmatization of seeking help. This includes volunteering with organizations that support those in recovery and advocating for better treatment options and resources. Overall, my experiences with addiction have deeply impacted my beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. While they have been challenging, they have also taught me the importance of compassion, understanding, and advocacy. I hope to use these experiences to make a positive impact on the world and support those impacted by addiction and mental health issues.

      Financial Literacy Importance Scholarship
As a high school student, managing finances is essential to ensure a stable financial future. It is crucial to develop good financial habits early on in life that will pay off in the long run. Financial management is essential for students because it can help them avoid debt and achieve their long-term financial goals. Firstly, managing finances can help students avoid debt. Many students find themselves in debt because they don't manage their finances properly. Without a budget, students may overspend on things they don't need, which can lead to credit card debt or student loans. By developing good financial habits, students can avoid debt and focus on building a stable financial future. Secondly, managing finances is crucial for students because it can help them achieve their long-term financial goals. Whether it's saving for a house, starting a business, or traveling, students need to have a clear understanding of their financial situation to achieve their goals. Without proper financial management, students may struggle to save money and achieve their long-term goals. To manage finances well, I follow several steps. Firstly, I create a budget to track my expenses and income. This allows me to see where my money is going and make adjustments as necessary. I use a budgeting app to track my expenses, and I make sure to update it regularly. By doing this, I can ensure that I achieve a wealthy and abundant lifestyle. Secondly, I avoid unnecessary expenses. I prioritize my spending by differentiating between my wants and needs. For instance, I only purchase the necessities such as food, books, and other study materials. I avoid eating out often and instead cook my meals at home. By doing so, I can save a significant amount of money, which can be used to meet other expenses such as tuition, rent, and transportation. Thirdly, I try to save a percentage of my income each month. I put aside a portion of my income towards a savings account or an investment. This helps me build an emergency fund, which I can use in case of unexpected expenses. Having an emergency fund is essential because it can prevent me from incurring debt when unexpected expenses arise. Lastly, I avoid unnecessary debt. I have a credit card, but I only use it for emergencies or when it's necessary. I pay off my credit card balance in full each month to avoid accruing interest charges. I also avoid taking out unnecessary loans or using payday loans, as they often come with high-interest rates that can be difficult to pay back. In conclusion, managing finances is essential for students to avoid debt and achieve their long-term financial goals. As a student, I manage my finances well by creating a budget, avoiding unnecessary expenses, saving a portion of my income, and avoiding unnecessary debt. These habits have allowed me to maintain a stable financial situation and avoid debt. By developing good financial habits early on, students can ensure a secure financial future and achieve their long-term financial goals.

      Your Health Journey Scholarship
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is essential for overall wellbeing, and it has been a personal journey for me to make changes to my daily habits and routines to prioritize my health. Over the past few years, I have made significant changes to my lifestyle that have allowed me to feel more energized, focused, and happy. The first change I made was to prioritize my sleep. I used to stay up late watching TV or scrolling through social media, but I realized that it was negatively impacting my health and wellbeing. So, I made a conscious effort to go to bed earlier and get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. I turned off all electronics an hour before bedtime, read a book, and practiced some breathing exercises or meditation to help me fall asleep faster and improve the quality of my sleep. Another change I made was to incorporate more physical activity into my daily routine. I used to have a sedentary lifestyle and didn't engage in any regular exercise. However, now I exercise daily not only to increase physical strength, but also mental strength. These small changes eventually led me to establish a regular exercise routine, and now I enjoy running, yoga, and strength training several times a week. In addition to physical activity, I also focused on improving my diet. I used to rely on processed foods and sugary snacks, which left me feeling sluggish and tired. I started to incorporate more whole foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins into my diet, and I noticed a significant improvement in my energy levels and overall health. I also started to prepare my meals at home, which allowed me to have more control over the ingredients and portions. One of the most significant changes I made to my lifestyle was to prioritize my mental health. I used to be stressed and anxious, and I realized that it was negatively impacting my physical health as well. I started to prioritize self-care activities like meditation, journaling, and spending time in nature. I also sought therapy and professional support to help me manage my stress and anxiety, and it has made a significant difference in my overall wellbeing. Lastly, I realized the importance of creating a healthy work-life balance. I used to work long hours and didn't take enough breaks or time off to rest and recharge. I started to prioritize my personal life and set boundaries at work, which allowed me to have more time for my hobbies, relationships, and self-care activities. This has helped me to feel more fulfilled and happy in all aspects of my life. In conclusion, my health journey has been a gradual and ongoing process of making small changes to my lifestyle and habits to prioritize my health and wellbeing. I realized the importance of prioritizing sleep, physical activity, healthy eating, mental health, and work-life balance, and these changes have had a significant positive impact on my life. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is a journey, and it requires consistency, commitment, and self-care to maintain it.

Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges facing our world today. The impact of climate change is already being felt across the globe, with rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and food and water scarcity. To combat climate change, we need to take a multifaceted approach that addresses the root causes of the problem and encourages individuals and communities to take action. In my view, the most impactful way to combat climate change is through a combination of policy change and individual action. Governments and corporations have a crucial role to play in reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to renewable energy sources. This includes investing in clean energy technology, implementing carbon taxes and regulations, and promoting sustainable transportation and land use practices. At the same time, individuals can also make a significant impact by reducing their own carbon footprint and advocating for change in their communities. This includes making lifestyle changes such as reducing meat consumption, using public transportation or cycling, and conserving energy in the home. It also involves raising awareness and educating others about the urgency of the climate crisis and the need for collective action. In my own life, I strive to fight climate change by making conscious choices that reduce my carbon footprint and advocating for change in my community. This includes using public transportation or cycling instead of driving, reducing my consumption of meat and dairy products, and conserving energy and water in my home. In addition, I am an active member of several environmental organizations and work to raise awareness about the impact of climate change and the urgent need for action. I volunteer at local clean-up events and participate in advocacy campaigns to promote policies that will reduce carbon emissions and protect our planet. I believe that it is essential to take a holistic approach to combatting climate change, addressing both the root causes of the problem and the individual actions that contribute to it. This requires a collective effort from governments, corporations, and individuals alike. One of the most critical aspects of combatting climate change is investing in renewable energy technology. This includes solar, wind, and hydropower, which are cleaner and more sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. Governments and corporations can support the transition to renewable energy by investing in research and development, providing incentives for the use of clean energy, and investing in infrastructure to support the distribution and storage of renewable energy. Another essential aspect of combatting climate change is reducing deforestation and promoting sustainable land use practices. Deforestation is a significant contributor to carbon emissions, and protecting forests and other ecosystems is critical to preserving biodiversity and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This requires government policies and incentives that promote sustainable forestry practices and protect natural habitats. In conclusion, combatting climate change requires a comprehensive approach that addresses the root causes of the problem and encourages individual and collective action. This includes investing in renewable energy technology, promoting sustainable land use practices, and reducing carbon emissions through government policies and individual actions. With collaboration and taking action now, we can build a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.

Throughout my high school career I have been constantly told I am not good enough and need to be better. I have been told that I will always be a failure, a loser, an idiot even by some who were very close to me. In the beginning years of highschool I have been bullied because of my ethnicity, culture, and mindset. In reminiscence, I understand that I needed to be bullied, told I will never be good enough, and told I will be a failure. A valuable lesson I have learned from all these experiences and adversities is to not care what others think. An important trait in life is confidence and a strong mindset complements this trait. Because the mind the most powerful thing one can control. If one thinks positive, positive things will happen. If one thinks negative, negative things will happen. Without a strong positive mindset there can be no success. These adversities have shaped me into the person I am today. I have learned the value of confidence and self discipline. In order to learn these skills or acquire them one must face failure. I am now currently a great student with 3.88 GPA (unweighted) and 4.95 GPA (weighted) and enrolled in a certified medical assisting internship to provide me with knowledge and experience in my healthcare career. I disregarded the negative thoughts, expectations, and ideologies of others and pushed myself to become a stronger man. This process is mandatory to wake up everyday and try to be the best version of oneself. I work hard to be better and stronger than the day I was a failure. Another challenge in my highschool career was the coronavirus pandemic. Which made me and and many others adapt to remote learning. Obviously, this virus changed everything and everyone's lives; however there was a lesson to be learned. Coronavirus has shaped me to adapt and to persevere with a whole new learning and social environment. Due to isolation from quarantine, I lost my socializing skills. I came back to school to a different learning environment, and then I eventually made friends and good relationships. In the long run, I persevered and developed a strong mindset to overcome this adversity. This isolation shaped me to be better and to persevere even when times were tough. I understand the commitment and discipline it takes to enter university and further my education. I understand that everyone does not need a secondary education to be successful, but I believe that it is the only way to achieve my dream. I hope to become a doctor and save and change lives not only in my community, but for the world. With this opportunity, I hope I can move on and impact the lives of others. I am diligent and committed to academics and a career in the Healthcare field. A quote that stuck with me since I was thirteen years old was “the important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle,” by Pierre De Coubertin. In summary, all of these struggles have helped me to become a better person and learn the value of perseverance.

Generational wealth is the accumulation of financial resources and assets that are passed down from one generation to the next. It is a concept that has become increasingly important in today's society, as the wealth gap between the rich and the poor continues to widen. For me, generational wealth means having the ability to provide financial security and stability for my family and future generations. Growing up, my family struggled with financial instability, and I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to make ends meet. I knew that I wanted to break this cycle of poverty and provide a better life for myself and my future family. This is why I am committed to achieving generational wealth in the future. I believe it is my duty to the future generations to become financially free and making an impact on the world. For me, achieving generational wealth is not just about accumulating money and assets. It is about creating a sustainable financial plan that will provide long-term financial security for myself and my family. This means investing in myself through education and building a career that provides a stable and consistent income. I plan to achieve generational wealth through a combination of hard work, dedication, and smart financial planning. This includes pursuing a higher education and building a career in a field that is financially stable and in-demand. In my case, this is the world of Healthcare and serving others. It also involves learning about personal finance and making smart investments that will generate long-term wealth. One of the key components of achieving generational wealth is investing in assets that appreciate in value over time. This includes investing in real estate, stocks, and other assets that have the potential to generate long-term growth and income. By investing in these assets early in life, I can create a solid foundation for generational wealth that can be passed down to future generations. Another important aspect of achieving generational wealth is estate planning. This involves creating a plan for the distribution of assets and wealth after my passing, ensuring that my family is financially secure for generations to come. This includes creating a will, establishing trusts, and taking advantage of tax-saving strategies to maximize the amount of wealth that can be passed down to future generations. In addition to financial planning, I also plan to teach my children and future generations about the importance of financial literacy and responsible money management. By instilling these values at a young age, I can help ensure that my family has the knowledge and tools needed to build and maintain generational wealth. In conclusion, achieving generational wealth is an important goal that requires dedication, hard work, and smart financial planning. For me, generational wealth means having the ability to provide long-term financial security and stability for my family and future generations. Through education, career building, asset management, and responsible money management, I am committed to achieving this goal and creating a legacy of financial stability for my family.

My name is Nicholas, and I am a firm believer in the power of education to change the world. As someone who has seen the devastating effects of substance use disorder firsthand, I am passionate about raising awareness and educating others about this critical issue. Growing up, I watched as family members and friends struggled with addiction. Including: drugs, porn, alchohol, and the worst weed. It was heart-wrenching to see their lives spiral out of control, and I felt powerless to help. However, I soon realized that education could be a powerful tool in the fight against substance use disorder. I have spent the past few years studying addiction and recovery, both through academic coursework and personal experience. I have volunteered at local treatment centers and recovery groups, and I have seen firsthand the impact that education can have on those struggling with addiction. Through my studies and experiences, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex factors that contribute to substance use disorder. I understand that addiction is not a chronic disease that requires ongoing support and treatment, but a moral failing or a personal choice. As a future doctor, I plan to use my knowledge and experience to make a positive impact on the world by educating others about substance use disorder. I believe that education is the key to reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and improving access to treatment and support. One of the ways that I see myself educating others about substance use disorder is through community outreach and education programs. I plan to work with local organizations and hospitals to develop evidence-based programs that raise awareness about substance use disorder and provide resources and support for those in need. In addition, I plan to continue my own education in addiction studies and pursue a career in healthcare. By working directly with those struggling with addiction, I can provide personalized support and guidance to help individuals achieve lasting recovery. Finally, I believe that advocacy and policy change are critical to addressing the systemic issues that contribute to substance use disorder. I plan to use my voice and platform to advocate for policies that promote evidence-based treatment and support for those struggling with addiction. Overall, my goal is to make a positive impact on the world by using education to raise awareness about substance use disorder and provide support and resources for those in need. Through community outreach, direct support, and advocacy, I believe that we can reduce the stigma surrounding addiction and improve the lives of millions of people around the world. I am committed to this mission, and I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion through education and advocacy.

Mathematics is often seen as a dull and tedious subject, with nothing to offer but numbers and equations. However, for me, mathematics is an incredibly fascinating and beautiful subject that holds endless possibilities for exploration and discovery. There are several reasons why I love math, and I will share them in this essay. Firstly, math is the language of the universe. It is the foundation of all science and technology. From the smallest particles to the largest galaxies, math helps us understand the patterns and relationships that govern our world. The beauty of math lies in its ability to simplify complex phenomena into elegant equations that capture the essence of nature. This makes mathematics an incredibly powerful tool for solving real-world problems and creating new technologies. Secondly, math is a puzzle that never ends. There is always more to learn and discover, no matter how much you know. It is a subject that rewards curiosity and persistence, as every new piece of knowledge leads to new questions and challenges. The more you learn about math, the more you realize how much there is still to learn. Thirdly, math is a subject that requires creativity and imagination. While math is often seen as a rigid and inflexible subject, the truth is that it allows for endless possibilities and creativity. There are many different ways to approach a problem or prove a theorem, and each solution can be just as valid as the next. This means that math is not just about memorizing formulas and rules, but about developing your own intuition and problem-solving skills. Lastly, math is a subject that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. It is a universal language that can be understood by people all over the world, regardless of their background or upbringing. This makes math a powerful tool for communication and collaboration, as it allows people from different cultures and disciplines to work together and share ideas. In conclusion, math is an incredibly fascinating and beautiful subject that holds endless possibilities for exploration and discovery. It is the language of the universe, a puzzle that never ends, a subject that requires creativity and imagination, and a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. For all these reasons and more, I love math and will continue to study it for as long as I live.

Hi my name is Nicholas Hoskin. There are many reasons why I am pursuing secondary education and a college degree. First, a major reason why I plan to pursue a college education is to not let my family down. Almost my whole family has degrees from UNT and expects me to pursue one as well. I plan to pursue a degree in Biology as this will help me pursue my dreams and make my parents proud I understand that you do not need a degree to be successful in this world, but it shows everyone that I am willing to take the next step, and go above and beyond. After I complete my degree in Biology, I plan to go to med school. It will be a very challenging and difficult future, but it will be awarding as well. I plan to serve my community and hopefully the world as a general surgeon or neurosurgeon. The medical field interest me the most out of all other pathways. I am currently enrolled in a certified medical assistant internship with my school and hope this provides me with the knowledge and experience of my life. I will use this knowledge and experience to pursue a career in the medical field. I know this is not an easy task, but with self discipline and a strong mindset it can become a future. Another reason of why I am pursuing a degree is because it is my dream to serve people. I believe it is my calling to save lives and perform surgeries to help people. With a degree in medicine I can achieve this, save lives, and make a impact in the world. I understand the commitment and discipline it takes to further take my education to a university. I understand that everyone does not need a secondary education to be successful, but I believe that it is the only way to achieve this dream of mine. My dream is to become a doctor and save and change lives not only in my community, but for the world. With this scholarship, I hope I can move on and impact the lives of others. I am diligent and committed to academics and a career in the Healthcare field. I am currently taking a certified medical assisting internship with my school to improve my knowledge and experience in the world of Healthcare. I believe it is my place in the world to serve others. I will become a leading professional in UNT not only offering medical help, but also spiritual and mental improvement.

First, there are many traits about me, but I will begin with three. I am self disciplined, ambitious, determined , and willing to work my absolute hardest to not be average. My most important interest as of right now is a career in Healthcare. I plan to work in the Healthcare field serving and making a change in community and, hopefully the world. I am extremely interested in the world of Healthcare and finding not only a future for me, but for a future for others. I am currently in a Certified Medical Assistant Internship, this will provide me with the knowledge and experience to get an advantage in the world of Healthcare. I believe that this is my place in the world and in God's eyes, to serve others. This is my number one interest as of right now and this is a part of my identity. Another very important piece of my identity is my culture, ethnicity, and beliefs. My mother is from England and my father is from India. Being a vibrant person of culture, I can relate to others and their cultures. A major interest and part of my life is traveling. I have traveled the world including: Thailand, Qatar, India, England, Mexico, The Maldives, Africa, France, Italy and many more. I have a passion for traveling and learning about different cultures. Traveling the world truly changes a person and their values. Traveling the world has helped realize how fortunate I am to live. I understand now how fortunate I am to be in America and live this life. I have been to the poor and unfortunate third world countries and it has changed me and formed a whole new identity. I understand the importance and knowledge you attain from traveling the world and I believe I can use this for the benefit of others. A talent I have acquired over my high school years is animal caring and manual labor. I live on a farm with 20 goats currently. I work hard each day caring for them and providing a safe and feasible living space for them. Working and maintaining a farm with animals requires much patience, persistence, and problem solving. Goats are extremely vulnerable to predators, infections, and just dumb. They require a master to guide and to care for them. This talent I have attained over the years, has helped me gain aspects not only in the veterinary field, but as a leader. Soccer is also a very important aspect of my identity. I also play soccer for my high school and have been playing soccer the past ten years. It helped me learn the value of self discipline, teamwork, and resilience. In conclusion, I plan to use all of these acquired skills and trials to give back to the community of Healthcare. I plan to become a doctor, change and save lives, and impact the world in a deeper understanding of spirituality and the power of the mind.
