Bio

My name is Niagara Millen, and I am a senior at Cathedral Prep. I am a diligent student with a passion for learning and personal growth. Throughout high school, I have been committed to academic success while being an active member in extracurricular activities and volunteer work. My favorite things to do include reading, playing lacrosse, singing, volunteering, and spending time with friends. As a student-athlete, lacrosse has taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. These qualities are something that I now apply on and off the field. Volunteering has also helped me become a leader and reinforced my desire to give back to others, particularly in the medical field. This fall, I'll be attending Mercyhurst University to study towards a degree in Biology. My goal is to become a Physician Assistant, a path inspired by caring for my mother during her battle with ALS. That experience taught me the importance of compassion in healthcare and sparked my desire to care for others with the same kindness and dedication. I believe education can change lives, and I’m committed to using my education to make a lasting impact through service and empathy.
