Hi, my name is Ngan, and I'm pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics at DePauw University. After college, I hope to pursue a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a focus on business and quantitative finance. I am passionate about learning and exploring the world. Since I was very small, I have picked up lots of hobbies, from arts (drawing, painting, and photography) to sports (swimming, badminton, and soccer) to linguistics (English, French, and Mandarin among many others). For me, learning allows me to understand the world better and even makes a positive impact on the community I grew up in. Ultimately, I want to use what I have learned through my education and career to help out the disadvantaged community in Southeast Asia, especially in the education aspect. Besides this, I want to travel the world, continuing to observe and experience the nature and the people that make up the earth.
