My Pie in the Sky My “pie in the sky” dream is to build a meaningful career in marketing and advertising where I can use creativity to tell stories that inspire, uplift, and empower others especially young people who come from challenging or overlooked backgrounds. What once felt out of reach has slowly become a vision I can now see myself stepping into. This dream was sparked by my own journey of finding my voice. For much of my childhood and early school years, I was quiet and unsure of myself. I struggled with confidence and often felt like blending in was safer than standing out. After attending a school environment where I experienced discrimination, my confidence and even my faith was shaken. I questioned my worth and my purpose, not sure of where I belonged or what my future could look like. Everything began to change when I transferred to Auburn Hills Christian. Being in a faith community based environment helped me rebuild not only my confidence, but also my relationship with God. I began to understand that my voice mattered and that my experiences, even the painful ones could be used for something amazing. That realization planted the seed for my dream. Around the same time, I discovered content creation. It started as something small posting online and expressing myself creatively and turned into a powerful thing. Building a platform taught me patience, consistency, and courage. When I created content that reached 3.3million views, it showed me that expressing urself has power and that creativity can connect people across backgrounds. That moment made me realize I wanted to pursue a career where creativity meets purpose. My pie in the sky dream is to attend Grand Canyon University, grow academically and spiritually, and build a career in either marketing and advertising entrepreneurship that reflects my values. I want to work with brands, organizations, and causes that promote authenticity, confidence, and positive change. One day, I hope to mentor and inspire others especially young women to believe that their dreams are valid, even when they feel far away. I know this dream will require commitment and growth. The steps I believe I need to take include continuing to strengthen my education, developing my communication and leadership skills, and staying disciplined in both my faith and work ethic. I also know I will need resilience the willingness to keep going when things don’t come easily. What makes this dream possible is my faith. My relationship with Jesus reminds me that setbacks do not define me and that growth often begins in uncomfortable places. I have learned that courage doesn’t mean having everything figured out it means trusting the process and taking the next step anyway. My pie in the sky is no longer just a distant hope. It’s a goal I am actively working toward, made by faith, creativity, and a belief that regardless of where you start, you can build a future that inspires others.
