Bio

I hope to one day raise a tight knit family who is appreciative of what they have and are generous to others. I love nature and hope to work in the wildlife and wildlands conservation field. I want to promote and preserve nature and outdoor sporting in a way that will support our natural resources into the future. I grew up in a family that always pushed me to do my best and I still desire to do my best In whatever I put my mind to. Any funding that comes my way will be greatly appreciated and well used.

    Bold Legacy Scholarship
The world is growing evermore busy and distracted and the quiet places where we may turn for refuge are getting smaller and smaller every day. As a people we are more and more focused on what others think and how we need to act to fit in with the world. Something invaluable to our self esteem and mental health is to have a place where we can go to be ourselves and leave the world behind. What I aspire to achieve is not that the world as a whole comes to the same conclusion as to where peace and tranquillity may be achieved, but rather that I can help preserve a space where some might find this self security. Having grown up in a small town in the desert of Arizona I always had access to nature. I grew up wandering the desert hills in the day and enjoyed a little polluted sky at night to gaze at the stars. There were wild animals and bugs, places to explore and observe. Natural beauty, the pure creations that God made for us to enjoy. I hunt and fish and personally participating in the circle of life in this way gives me a deeper appreciation for my life and that of the creatures we share this planet with. I hope for my legacy to be the preservation and conservative use of such wild spaces. I want my kids to grow up in a world where they can step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life into the calm atmosphere of nature. I hope to inspire others to get out into nature as I have and to feel the deep internal healing that comes from slowing down our pace and appreciating God's creations.
