My life goals are to complete my bachelor's degree in construction management at the University of Texas at Tyler and apply that knowledge to project-level roles: roles like Project Executive, Operations Manager, or Director of Operations. What will make me a great candidate is when I complete my associate degree in pre-engineering at Trinity Valley Community College. The projects that I have done so far at UT Tyler are the Water Bottle Rocket Competition for the Ratliff Relay and the Baseball Trebuchet Launcher Project. I designed the water bottle rocket as a team of four students for the Ratliff Relay Competition. Gained hands-on experience while showing leadership skills, teamwork, and communication. We used multiple 2-liter soda bottles, used SolidWorks to model the CAD drawings, built the kit and parts, and made posters for the rough draft and final design. Made the rocket fly farther by scaling up the size of the fins, making it top-heavy, loading it with the proper air pressure, and launching at the best angle. I also worked with a team of four to write up the design for the trebuchet launcher, make the sling, acquire the baseball, build the trebuchet, and figure out the torque. Increased distance is launched by increasing the tension of the sling and having the release point be at an angle of 120 degrees. Our baseball launched over 10 meters.

My background experience in college had its ups and downs in 2024, like starting with ups, being a member of Phi Theta Kappa, earning the Phi Theta Kappa Dr. Mary Hood Star Scholarship, participating in events at Trinity Valley Community College in 2024, and doing community services at the Halloween Festival, donating food at the Henderson County Food Drive, and volunteering at Cleveland Amory Black Beauty for the endangered animals. My downsides of 2024 are not getting enough competitive scholarships to attend the University of Texas at Tyler in 2025, barely passing English Composition 2, and not having University Physics at Trinity Valley Community College in 2024.
The interests that I pursue in my spare time from college work are exercising in the gym, drawing rough drafts of artwork, and watching my favorite TV shows, such as The Rookie, All Elite Wrestling, WWE, and BattleBots.
Finally, my immediate goals are to apply for internships to better prepare me for my career in mechanical engineering, earn my bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Tyler, apply for housing in Dallas, Texas, and apply for jobs in mechanical engineering (like Rev Robotics or United Software Group).
