I remember it was fifth grade when I had been the victim of bullying. I was a victim of bullying for five years. It started from fifth grad up until my freshman year of high school. It was a really difficult time for me because I couldn't fight back. My tormentor was my own cousin and one of my classmates. It took me years to forgive my own cousin for what he did to me because I could not forgive immediately at that point. I still think about what my own cousin had did to me until this day because it will always be with me and that torment left a scar on me. It took away my sense of confidence, self-esteem, my sense of beauty and how I felt about myself and it even took away my sense of safety. Before the torment of my own cousin, I was a happy girl, had my best friends who I had known since I was three years old, got good grades and even got to over to my best friend's house. My best friend was like my sister growing up and we had a lot of good times together. My best friends always knew how to comfort me when I was feeling sad or down. When I went to a new school at the start of our fifth grade year, it changed in an instant for me.
