Bio

I am a first generation college student with big dreams to help legally advocate for lower income individuals in difficult situations. The adversity I've had to overcome has made me even more determined to achieve my dreams! I hope that my personality is reflected in my desire to live up to the opportunities I am given. My life has been rough starting out but there hasn't been a moment where I stopped fighting for my career path. I am passionate about my desire to help others!

Most 16 year olds dream about normal teenage things like prom or graduation, while I was unfortunately given a different set of circumstances. As soon as I settled into my junior year of high school, I lost both of my parents on the very same day. I was devastated, unprepared, and left on my own to finish high school. I had a very rough time navigating how to overcome coming from a lower income background in such a rough world. I am the first generation in my family to go to college! By putting myself through school after such a loss, I never gave up on my dreams of making a better life for myself. My difficult life experiences have only made me stronger. I have been given so few chances in life that I am ready to jump on any opportunity that crosses my path. My trauma has only made me want to pursue the legal field to help fight for the victims of domestic abuse. I would like to help create more efficient systems to protect victims. I feel theres a broken system of law officials using a reactionary approach instead of a preventive one. These events will then escalate to real life danger if there's nothing to help these victims. I want to do my best to apply my intuition to whatever the situation needs. I also wish to ensure that there are more cyber security laws to help support victims. By giving them more information and access to legal services, I hope to aid those personally effected by cyber abuse. There's too many instances of aggressors evading harassment on the basis that it's just online. Mostly I know deep down that by surviving everything I have, I am meant to do something more important with my life. I hope to eventually finish to law school and then hopefully pursue criminal law. My passion for helping others and my personal experiences in life give me the sympathy to more accurately help support victims in any situation. There's nothing more I desire in life than to ensure I can aid those in similar situations to what has happened to me. Most often times I've been given sympathy for my loss, but what victims really deserve is respect. I know I will be able to be a reliable resource for those who need me. With my career in the legal field, I hope to honor the memory of my mother and father in whatever instances I can.
