I am persuing a college degree to help me find a good job and be able to support myself. I was accepted to Texas Tech which is where I will be going next fall to study interior design. It has always been my dream to decorate and remodel houses and other spaces. I want to further my education to be able to help as any people as possible to get their dream homes and buisnesses.

My favorite Disney character is Tiana. She doesn't give up on her dreams of making her own resturant just like how I will not give up on my dreams of becoming a interior designer. She goes above and beyond and works for everything she wants to accomplish.

Recently I have been heavly empacted by mental health. Many people dont understand the sturggles that come along with having a mental health disorder. In the spring of 2022 I had a suicide attempt. I then was diagnosed with depression and general anxiety disorder. This has heavily changed my relationships because I was told by my therapist that those that really love you will stay with you during these hard times. I found my true friends during this time and was blessed with many more. Mental health has also changed my beliefs on Christianity because I realized how many Christians don't talk about mental health. I ended up talking to my youth leaders about this and helped others realize that people may seem fine but arent fine. This also changed my career aspirations because I get drained mentally more than others. So I decided to go into a field where I would be able to create my own schedule which will help me with not being as mentally drained. Mental health has made a huge impact on me this year and has infulenced me in so many different ways.
