My life goal is to pursue a career in becoming a film director and writer. I’ve always been passionate about the film industry since I was young. My mom, who’s been working in the industry, has always exposed me to life on and off set. From helping her with invoices, physically working on set, and seeing the impact it had on our personal lives, has gotten me ready to be my own person in the industry. Over the years, I've taken up jobs that introduced me to the basics of every part of making a film, both behind and in front of the camera. I started to become more and more interested in the creative ways to make a visual story when studying other directors' work. Such as blocking, lighting, and camera tricks that make that world more interactive. My interest peaked even more when I discovered my passions to write as well. Also, as a young woman, I have battled with my own mental health challenges and found comfort and inspiration in writing. I’d imagine what my stories would look like on the screen, not only playing a character in my head. I wrote stories with all sorts of characters and settings, trying to envision how I could show it to audiences who want to enter my world. So with my knowledge of both writing and film, I hope to pursue a career in the entertainment industry where I can create films that tell my stories and test my skills on my A/V creativity. I’ve grown up living, breathing, and eating for my film future. I believe my passion towards this art makes me a great candidate.
