I want to provide empathy and comfort to my future patients, who may have had poor experiences with health care, possibly because of their racial, social, religious, or economic background. I am a well-rounded individual who has had many life experiences that many my age don't get the opportunity to, and I am aware of that. I am all about overcoming obstacles in spite of poor circumstances, but I would never put-down someone who is struggling through challenges because everyone is different. I am a second generation immigrant on my father's side, and my mother was the first person in her family to go to college. Because of this, I have a different perspective of life, as both of my parents had to overcome poverty, prejudice, and socioeconomic barriers to get to where they are in life. I am neurodivergent with a medical diagnosis of ADHD, but I am still a hard-working student. I also have an older sister, three dogs, and an addiction to gummy bears 🥰
