Hi! I am a rising senior in high school. My main life goal is to pursue a career that I love while maintaining good physical and mental health. I am passionate about fitness and have participated in cross country, outdoor, and indoor track and field throughout high school. The long hours spent training have taught me how important it is to maintain adequate physical health in school and how that can translate into better mental health. I am the co-founder and co-president of a mental health club at my school where we strive to provide a safe environment and discuss our strategies to a healthier life. Some of my hobbies include going on hikes or going biking with my family. I speak Spanish at home and have earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy. At home, I take care of my two younger brothers. Some of my academic strengths are having good time management, excellent critical thinking skills, and paying attention to details. I have taken 7 APs and plan to take 5 more. My weighted GPA is 4.89. I am passionate about the environment and sustainability. My goal is to pursue a career in biotechnology and research.
