I am pursuing a trade-in architecture or landscape architecture. I am passionate about this trade because I love building things that induce my creativity. I also love how each building in architecture or landscape architecture is very creative and me being creative since I was born, I got appealed to it very quickly. Architecture has appealed to me because it not only used construction but your creativity and the knowledge of learning about the environment. As a little girl, I have always been in love with nature and still love nature to this day. By pursuing this trade, I am able to use my creative mind and find ways to incorporate environment-friendly ways into architecture. When I accomplish that in the future, not only have I made a place where it is beautiful and efficient to use, but it is also great for the environment. I plan to apply to different retail, residential, recreational, or commercial building companies after my trade education because I can start building and creating new designs for buildings. The reason why is because each of those companies is constantly building new places. In recreational areas, I can be more of a help to the environmental way because I can create places for people to relax and have fun as well as having a place where nature can grow without pollution. With residential buildings, I get to build areas that people will feel safe in while they are relaxing at home. The people can come home to feel that they can start a family where there won't be any harmful substances on their room walls or areas that are dangerous due to pollution. I would like to apply to these types of companies because I can actually showcase my creativity and intuitive mind so that I can create something that is both great for the society and environment. A time when I overcame adversity was when my family and I were homeless for almost a year due to a decrease in my mother's income. While at a homeless shelter, my mother would constantly work a lot to be able to feed us. While my mother worked, I would take care of my siblings, since I am the oldest, and help my mother when she needed it. I had also learned how to reduce usage on many different things because it helped my mom relax as she didn't have to overwork herself. My mother would always save and she taught me how to save while going shopping for groceries and other necessities. Since then, my family and I are still saving and I have taken up many things I learned at that time with me to this day. My family and I worked through this adversity by having some help from family in SC, where we moved. The help from our other family had helped us get a good footing and had also helped us get back up. My family and I are still struggling a little, but now we know how to help ourselves by not going back since we have done this before and learned different things from this adversity. Even though my family may not go back to that time, we are prepared in case it happens again.

My favorite piece of art would be architecture in general because there are many creative and wonderful types of architecture. The architecture of the Pantheon in Athens, Greece, is very interesting and artistic to me. I like how there are columns along with domes. The architecture of the Pantheon is the best part to me because it is of Ancient Greek architecture, which is still seen to this day in modern buildings. The architecture may be old but it shows how much of an impact the architecture of Ancient Greek is spread across the world. The architecture of Notre Dame, Paris, is French Gothic architecture. Before Notre Dame burned down, the architecture was very beautiful and ties the past with the present as it is of French Gothic architecture while the buildings around it are modern. I love how the architecture of this building goes into the past of what Paris, France was like back in that time. Architecture, no matter the type, takes us back into time without the use of a time travel machine. Each historical monument and building have different types of architecture that represent different periods as well as different cultures within those periods.
