Here are reasons why a scholarship will help me in my educational and career goals. I think that having a scholarship is the best reward to opening doors for my situation because I believe in myself and that I am determined to knock down walls. I am one who is serious about going the extra mile that will allow me to excel in life. I know that this would be a great investment towards my future. I feel that lacking a degree and gaps in my resume, as well as the changes in our job market and family sickness has cause me to be at the bottom pick for an interview. I spent too much time filling out applications that somehow fell in a dark hole. Through the years I was able to gain my College Diploma and certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), but somehow, I felt that I wanted more. I feel in order to get the nourishment that I need, I must gain more knowledge to bring me to a place of growth in this life.
