Hello! My name is Naomi Rice. I have three siblings, and I'm the second oldest among them. My favorite color is green. I'm quite shy and also the first in my family to attend college. I was introduced to stem at a very early age. My mom loves science and experimenting, she always found a way to add it into our daily life. I remember around the age of six my mom got us a kit to make glow in the dark bubbles. In this experiment we had to add a glow mixture in to the bubbles to make them glow. the first attempt didn't work but as we kept trying different formulas, we eventually got it to work. She encouraged me to explore my own identity with an open mind. One of my favorite annual destinations is the Atlanta Science Expo, which offers a broad array of scientific exhibits. Many individuals have taken a simple concept and expanded it into a larger idea to capture people's attention. It was a great opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and learn about new things that many do not have the chance to explore. It would be fun to try out new recipes and building projects once we return home. Over time, I had the chance to experiment with various food-related items. This gave me complete creative freedom to manipulate the ingredients as I desired. Thus, I began to modify the boxed cake mix by adding and removing ingredients to determine which combination tasted the best. While experimenting with new recipes, I discovered how to transform cake mix into cookies. These cookies turned out to be one of my initial triumphs. While experimenting with new recipes, I've come to understand that outcomes may not always align with expectations. Rushing can lead to issues, but there are methods to resolve them. Similarly, in STEAM, there is often a specific approach to achieve the desired result. As time when by I became more comfortable with changing out a few ingredients. I began to bake everything from scratch. The challenge was recognizing the amount of work involved before beginning. Understanding that starting completely blind was unwise, I chose an online recipe made from scratch to assess my process. Extensive research on the ingredients and their roles in the recipe was conducted to explore future substitution possibilities. A key lesson learned is that perfection is elusive; there is always potential for enhancement. The possibilities for creation are limitless. Equipped with the knowledge I have gained; I plan to open a bakery. This establishment will cater to individuals with mental health disabilities and those with lactose intolerance, like me. Having grown up with a younger sister who has been diagnosed with several mental health conditions that are uncommon, I've gained considerable insight into the effects of food on the body. Whenever my sibling experienced a rough day or a moment of distress, a small piece of sour candy or a sweet treat would lift their spirits. Therefore, my aim is to develop recipes that can provide comfort and support during challenging times. My journey through STEAM has unveiled the marvels of baking. By adhering to the fundamental principles of STEAM, I have successfully utilized my knowledge to progress in my baking career. The most significant insight I've gained is that, just as steam follows various paths, there are multiple routes one can take to reach a destination.

A movie that had has a greatest impact on my life was a movie entitled Pastor Shirley that came out in 2013 written by Camara Davis and director by J. Horton. This movie is a funny comedy, a little spiritually, and also a ridiculous movie but in a good way! So, let me tell you a little summary about the movie. Pastor Shirley is a film starring a lady by the name of Paula Jai Parker who has been in veritable cornucopia of films dedicated to Black stories as a finesser who has impeccable knowledge of the Bible and bills herself as a community organizer, pastor, and masseuse. She does all three in this movie. She borrows one hundred dollars from a loan shark henchman to make some business cards that has ballooned into a payment of two thousand dollars that she cannot repay. She has all lost hope and think her life is doom until she received a call from Jason (Robert Ri'chard) who wants to save the church he grew up in from being sold to developer by his uncle Pastor Lee (Dorien Wilson). From my understanding the church was already sold; they had one week to pack up everything and be out. The church is in also in a bad neighbor where homes are broken in to on the regular. Jason prayed to God asking for help, he knocked over a box by accident and finds Pastor Shirley 's card. He calls her and she shows up to saving the day in her unorthodox style. A character by the name Satchel (Jackie Long) are robbing the church. It's closed, so I'm not sure what he expects to find, but he's looking. She saves Satchel from a life of crime and convinces his mother (played by Laura Hayes) to let him be a man, grow up and come help out more at the church. Pastor Shirley somehow manages to save a homeless girl Ella (Tiara Ashleigh), who is on the run from her abusive ex-boyfriend for the last two weeks, but apparently, she left her very rich life" a long time ago" because of her father, who just so happens to be the developer buying the church along with the rest of the community, he basically hasn't seen his daughter in years. Pastor saves Ella and Satchel, and also the church from a gun brandishing bang robber who was going to take them all out for snitching on him by knocking him out cold. Then Pastor Shirley's attempt to order pizza with credit cards that had no funds on them inadvertently alerted the loan shark her whereabout who happened to show up and demands the full payment, the rich developer dude pulls out a larger amount of money out his back pocket and set Pastor Shirley free to become a new church mother and help build the community back up. When Ella sees her father, she tells him the church saved her life, so he decides they can stay even though they don't have any members. Pastor Lee is very nonplussed and storms off, thinking he has a new church. The profound impact this movie has had on my life is the lesson to never judge a book by its cover. It means to treat everyone as you would like to be treated and never look down on anyone because of their circumstances; they might be the person who saves your life.

The kitchen is a culinary haven with an interactive baking and cooking hologram that teaches me how to prepare delicious dishes from around the world. In the bedroom, a magical canopy bed hovers above a pool filled with rose petals, allowing me to sleep under the stars. The spa wing features a hydrotherapy pool, a pink Himalayan salt cave, and massage chairs that provide the ultimate relaxation. The rooftop terrace is an entertainment hub, with a dance floor, DJ booth, and a panoramic view of the Maldivian sunset. Outside, a private beach cabana overlooks the ocean, complete with a green-detailed jet ski and a water slide that spirals into the sea. This Barbie Dreamhouse in the Maldives is of luxury and style, offering endless opportunities for adventure and fun in paradise for me and my family to enjoy.
