Najee Jeremiah is an educator, graphic designer, and recording artist from Brooklyn, New York. During his academic career at Howard University, he began graphic designing for students, clubs, and other colleges. Najee used his skills with graphic design initially to design graphic t-shirts and created a clothing brand called Howard Unrevealed or UV Brand. He translated his skills for designing t-shirts to designing websites and became interested in education while designing an educational social network, and founding an educational technology company called YsUp with his colleagues. At YsUp, he developed a classroom game that involves gamification of the classroom, scoring, and guided questions that allow students to tutor other students. As a student himself, he always used a similar method of using guided questions to help other students arrive at their own correct answers, allowing them to do the work. Before he acquired his Associates he was given the opportunity to teach full-time at a charter school as a Technology Teacher. He began recording music and performing in showcases and small sets in New York City during his college career. Najee, or by his stage name Naww G, has over 5 published albums and over a dozen and a half mixtapes he uses to promote himself and his businesses. Najee is currently a graduating senior student a CUNY Brooklyn College and is applying to Graduate School for Instructional Technology/Media. He would like to gain experience and connections working for large corporations like Facebook, Apple and Google to pursue his own start-up, YsUp.co.
