I chose to become a forensic accountant not only for my benefit but for others while pursuing a successful career doing what I love. The sole purpose of choosing this career was due to the challenges that I would face and overcome that would lead to others, and my success. Part of success is being able to overcome challenges along with finding a purpose that you care about, and that includes helping others. Success in forensic accounting means that by helping businesses catch fraudulent activity, it will not only allow them to succeed, but also myself. Forensic accounting is one of the most valuable and in demand professions. By going to college to major in accounting and minoring in criminal justice, it will allow me to gain valuable and versatile knowledge that will encourage me to strive for a higher degree and job in this field. The impacts of forensic accounting will allow me to problem solve. This means that throughout life I will continue to face new challenges and grow my intellectual abilities which is something that I strive to have. Having this degree will also allow me to find success within the FBI and other government funded institutions which allow benefits to many employees. Deciding to go to college for a major and a minor will allow me to have many different skills which can be applied to many different types of jobs. Thus, allowing various job opportunities that will fit my intended future. Not only does this career offer versatility, it also offers personal reward. Having a degree where I am able to flourish in the profession I love will allow me to make the most out of my life through enjoying work while also using the benefits to travel and spend time with loved ones. Through having a successful career, it will effectively change my life for the better. This is through being able to make a sufficient amount of money to do the things I love outside of work, but also enjoy the work that I am doing to create a safer and more secure finances for dependent businesses. Therefore, I chose this degree because I knew I would work hard to help others in an area of study that I enjoy. Also, forensic accounting would influence my life through continuous growth through problem solving and having the ability and opportunity to travel and spend time with those I love while having a successful career
