higher education is important to me because it will help me have a better job with better pay in the future, higher education will lead me to be able to provide for myself and my family. with better pay, I won't be living paycheck to paycheck. I will be able to save money and live happily. higher education is important to me because I like to learn new things. I like to have a higher understanding of concepts.

learning is important to me because I like to be educated about topics that come up in conversations. I feel smarter when I learn more. my brain is growing and so is my knowledge when I am learning. everyone says you learn something new every day. I like learning and I want more of it. learning new things will help me progress in the future and I will have a better understanding of things.

while in school, I maintain my mental health by listening to music to destress or I go to a yoga class. I maintain my physical health by doing stretches before weightlifting and doing exercises before bed and in the morning. exercising helps my mental health as well because it makes me feel good about my body and gives me the confidence I need. while in school, I maintain my nutritional health by eating enough meat, getting enough iron and calcium, and getting enough vitamins. I tend to eat gluten-free meals with fewer fats and carbs. I watch what I eat which also helps my physical health. I stay away from caffeine and too much sugar.

I currently have a dog and have owned other dogs in the past. my dog is a 4-year-old Jack Russel Terrier Black Lab mix. His name is Oreo. Oreo is very energetic and loves people. Oreo keeps me very happy and loves to remind me that I am not alone. he knows when I am upset and always gives me loves and kisses. my dog's role is my best friend. he keeps me happy, and I always have him to come back home to.

i believe that mental health is important because it what keeps up sane, healthy, happy, and continue going through life. mental health is important because it is caused mostly by what has happened in our past. our past teaches us lessons for the future. our mental health keeps our physical body moving and thriving. our mental health is what keeps us pushing forward.

Marida from brave is my favorite Disney character because she was told that she would never be able to do archery because she was a girl. I was always told that I would never make it to college because my parents were disabled, and we were poor. I have wanted to go to college since I was a third grader. Marida fought her battles, and she showed the men how strong she was and how accurate she was. she proved the men wrong and surprised them. I want to graduate college and get a steady job and be able to prove people wrong. I can make it through college and find my dream job even though my mom is now a single parent and disabled. I got a job when I turned 16 and worked my butt off to save money up for a car. now that I'm in my first year of college, I have a car. I believe I can do anything I set my mind to.

my goal for the future is to have a job working with animals. I connect better with animals than I do with people. I want to be a veterinarian. in high school I took dual credit classes at metro to start some of my gen eds. in my freshman year of college, I started off with 15 course credits. I am working on the weekends and joining clubs to look good on my resume. I am working very hard to get where I want to be. I study hard for quizzes and exams. if I fail or get something wrong, I try harder.

I have grown mentally in the past year. I have gained more confidence, gained more responsibility, and I don't get hurt as easily. I was always got mentally hurt by the little things. I was always being hurt by those around me even the ones who I thought I was close with. I was tired of getting hurt so I burnt those bridges and built a barrier around me. I now have good people in my life, and I feel like I can do anything. I took the time to work on myself and become a better me.

Technology has improved over the last decade improving new study habits and ways to communicate with those far away. Technology has also ruined our social interaction. everyone would rather just talk on the phone or facetime than go get lunch or go to a public place to hang out. technology has ruined society. I am not a phone person. I don't like being on phone calls forever. I would rather meet up with another person and have a face-to-face conversation.

I was motivated to go to college because i wanted to go somewhere with my life. neither of my parents graduated college and they always worked in gas stations or grocery stores. I will be the first to graduate college in my family. I want to make a living for myself. I want to show everyone that they were wrong about and that I can do it!
